  1. I was debating the green bars before I ordered everything, but decided not to get them..

I wanted small componants to be green and evenly dotted about like they are.. Big green parts like bars, rims, bash plates and cranks are a little to much for my liking.. Hubs I'd probably do, but it's too much hassle sending the wheel off to be rebuilt, and £130 for the same green pro2 07 Hub is a little crazy when I have a perfectly working black hub =)

Regarding the stem stacker (1 x 20mm stacker) ... I used to use less back in my early stock years, and always found it too hard to get the front up, so added more and found it less tiresome to ride.. For me personaly, it feels nice and balanced on the rear, really controllable.. But then that was years ago lol =D It'll most likely stay quite new looking throughout its life.. I have a tendancy to look after thing really well.. Maybe a bit too much lol.. And I stack cleanly too, which helps =D lol..

Thanks for your comments chaps =) Glad you like the look of it (Y)

    Regards,

    Rob.

I absolutely love it! It rides like a beauty, its been my dream bike for years.. It's silent on landings and gaps etc (apart from the pads lol) Easy on the rear, really chuckable too.. Cant wait to take it for a spin down Clacton seafront soon =D

Well I hope you find it pretty easy on the eyes.. I've seen some Zoo pitbulls on here with way too much green on them, even for my liking, and it's my favourite colour =) Let me know what you think of it anyway.. Bring it on, good or bad.. I love it already, just be even better if other like it too =D haha..

    Cheers,

    Rob.

  3. Well Im up for riding st osyth..Never rode there with anyone else before so I'll have you guys to get ideas and lines from.. I'll be coming from st osyth direction anyway because I live in point clear.. So I'll ride up to st osyth village and down to seawick beach, also known as st osyth beach. Then I'll meet you al at the pier; then ride back to st osyth beach with you's. I'll restrain myself from riding anything before I get there with you guys though, dont worry :Dlol

On the BBC website; the weather looks to be predominantly sunny with highs of 19 degrees, with pathy cloud, so it's likely to be a good day :D woohoo!!

Right, I've just got some DOT 5.1 brake fluid delivered today, so I'm gona go read up and bleed my disc cos it's shite at the moment..

Have fun all.. And I'll see you 9 o'clock saturday morning :D

    Rob..

  4. :P haha Cool... Everyone else OK for 9 o'clock :)

    ---------------------

Oh and this time Im not riding the day before the ride.. I kept doing that last year & I gave myself sore hands and muscles, making my riding on the actual day, a little crap lol.. I'll be doing other exercise though so Im ready for a good days riding.. :P

    Rob..

  5. Sweet!! Glad peeps are up for this, cos I spoke to my boss today and he's begrudginly given me to 31st off :) woohoo! lol...

So with a bit of luck it'll be 9 o'clock at the pier

Spread the word, the more riders the better... It's been a while since I see an excellent turn out for Clactons neck of the woods lol... (I probably missed the good ones knowing my luck lol)

    Rob..

  6. Hey guys

Been a while since I was about last, but I see a bit of chatter on the "May 24th - Chelmsford" thread, saying about a ride in either Clacton and/or St Osyth on the 31st May... Now shoot me if Im being a little too eager for a definate Clacton/St Osyth ride lol :giggle: but Im up for it, and so are the other clacton riders, "powerz/Ash" & most likely "ruption0/Scott"...

Im posting this now cos Im supposed to let my boss know 2 weeks prior to having a day off so... Doh! (N)lol.... But yea, who's up for this one?

    Thoughts & ideas below :)

    Regards, Rob..

  7. Well unfortunatly none of us clacton guy's can make it :( (Ash, Scott & Rob)

Ash is ill like he said above, but the main reason being, there's no trains running between clacton and colchester. They've been replaced with buses, which as you know we cant take 3 bikes onto... :(

We'll be at the next one, providing the trains are back to normal. :ermm:

    Have fun guys

    Rob.

  8. Im a Clacton guy too (The only Stock rider amongst us at the moment lol)..... I'll be coming!! I've Never ridden in chelmsford before so it should be a nice change from Southend & Cacton lol...

Hopefully the weather will be nice to us..

Oh and I need to get my rim grind big time... When Im next in town, Ash, would you be able to set your masterfull hands on it?? My file job seems to have worn off, and my snowys aren't liking it :) haha..

    See you there guys,

    Rob.

  9. Saturday was a bl00dy good ride guys!! Thanks for a good day..

Im getting better on the rock now.. Just my fingers begins to ache like mad on the brakes lol.

Oh and the skate park was sweet too. I gapped the tallest posts wooo! 1.6 meters from a stand still with barely any angle on launch :D

But that little post that broke on me! :( That was just my luck LOL... Im just glad I didnt do any damage... Well not to me anyway, the post didnt fair too well lol :P

The muscles in my fingers still hurt a bit but the callus' dont anymore thank god! Oh and I tightened my BB cup finally.. It had loosened about 2-3mm! :o

Shame there weren't that many of us though.. Was a great ride none the less.. (Y)

    Cheers,

    Rob.

  10. I'll probably be there about 9 o'clock anyway lol

Call me mad, but I got my bike almost 100% how I want it, so I wanna test it out properly :P hehe..

How are the injuries now Ash? I hope they're getting better mate.. (Y)

...Oh yea, thats what I was gonna ask you; would it be possible at some point to have my rear rim grind by yourself?

I've heard you do a perfect job of it :D Are blue rock pads the best to use on the grinds you do?

Sorry about the offtopic guys :- ..... :)

    Rob..

  11. lets have a night ride on the rocks!

light some fires around the bit we're riding...and get riding! petrol etc welcome.

as always- free beer and BBQ (Y)

    LOL

We'll get about 10 minutes riding done and the ol' bill will show up lol

    ---

Oh and I've been to see my manager about Saturday........... Ima coming to ride :D:P

    See you all Saturday!

    Rob.

  12. Well I just want to say thankyou to everyone who's commented so nicely about the bike.. Im really happy you all like it as much as I do! :)

I've gone and given the rear rim a light grind now :P but there was no grinder involved...... Just a beefy file with a mean edge to it :o:P

Result below.. I know it's just light grind, but Im running zoo pads that I want to last more that 5 mins lol...

    post-14348-1190761069_thumb.jpg

It still works as well as it did with tar, but it has a better feel to it.. more bite and hold.. It's still got that annoying squeek though <_< .... I've got an even meaner file to make it better so I'll be attacking it again soon lol..

I'll most likely get a proper grind soon though, and get some blue rock pads for it (unless there are any better pads I can use with a grind).. I'll have to see.. either way, it'll be "bye bye zoo's" lol...

Well thanks again peeps (Y) Your comments are much appritiated...

    Thankyou

    Rob.

  13. Just to let you guys know.....

I've Nitromorsed the frame & forks :P It looks the shizzle!!!! :teehee:

I've Given it 2 coats of lacquer that were 24hrs apart..

I'll be rebuilding it wednesday morning.. And if it's not raining, I'll take some pics for you...

Untill then; here's the frame, as it was before the Nitro :lol:lol

It was nice for a time, but it's nothing compared to how it is now! :shifty:
