  1. Looks pretty lush...What paint did you use? I cant seem to find a decent tough one unless i use Hammerite haha Dom

    Cramp

Apparently you can reduce the risk of getting cramps by eating more salt (unless you obviously eat to much already). Im not sure how it helps but i used to get cramp in my legs at night until the doctor told me to eat a bag of salty crisps before bed...POOF the cramps went. It might be worth trying to eat some saltly foods like peanuts and whatever before a ride. The peanuts give you energy to Dom
  3. Iv climbed with a few of my mates for about 8 months, we're on our way to leading some ace routes. In fact im off to Castle Rock on monday for a few hours climbing with my step dad However, ice climbing is amazing too Cheers, Dom

    Powerball.

Powerballs are ace...iv used mine for a couple of months for my rock climbing and i very rarely get kitten grip climbing, and don't get arm pump or kitten grip when im on my bike Cheers, Dom.
  5. Hello all, this might sound like a fairly strange or dumb question. Are Dengura brakes different from the Echo CNC ones that you can buy from tarty, or are they the same? It just seems like Dengura is slang for them, from what i have found. I can't seem to find out, people always talk about "Denguras" but im not that sure on what they are. Cheers, Dom.
  6. Hey man, i live in Newton so pretty much bang in the middle of Preston and Blackpool. If you wanna chat about getting out riding then my MSN is Domo131@hotmail.com. Cheers, Dom.
  7. Its just a fairly severe case of muscle fatigue...if you rest more inbetween rides (as Hobnobs said) and try to stretch before rides and after them, it will help to get the muscles warmed up and down. Try some Deep Heat gel rub stuff, its a gel that you rub on to aching or sore muscles to help ease the pain and keep the muscle warmed up for longer without doing exercise so that they can relax. Dom
  8. What the hell was with the guy gettin kicked in the face? Look painfull whatever the reason Dom
  9. Im tryin to ride as much as i can in the good weather, and then just go on my XC bike in the wet. Im riding down to Cornwall with a mate in a week so i really hope the weather holds up or its gonna drag all the way down, but never mind, theres nothing i can do Luckly there is enough room in my garage for a few pallets and other random things to jump all over... Dom
  10. Hello, yesterday i was jumping off random things and all of a sudden my free-wheel started jamming up, grinding and just generally being stiff. It seems to jam on all the time now. I assume this is fairly terminal and i need to replace it. Please can somebody tell me how i am supposed to get off, clean, replace and service rear free-wheels. I don't even know what type it is. Its the standard one that comes with a Base TA20. If you know which other free-wheels would fit then i would be grateful if you could tell me. Any advice on this would be most appreciated as i really want to get back on my bike. Thanks, Dom.
  11. Dont worry everybody...you can still buy this bike on ebay lol. Woop
  12. Try and focus on a different skill for about 30mins (side hopping or whatever) and then go back to the gap you are struggling with, and without hesitation give it your all. If its height that makes you back down then just practise on something lower, it can even be as simple as going from a curb to a mark on the ground...it just gets you used to the distance. For some reason it seems to work for me...
  13. Nice vid...make sure you make a third. Dom
