    my wheels

Errr, Hope stuff, Chris King stuff, Middleburns, Maxxis, Michelin, Drilled Ronnie, Sun SingleTrack, Echo bar, Monty stem, Zoo! bars if I'm in the mood, FSA bits.. Usual bike stuff.
  2. Well, I just put it on here to see what it would be like really. There are still problems with this chamber commerce stuff, it's hardly reliable.
  3. Yeah it changes it for some reason when it's uploaded But it's ok on biketutorial.tk
  4. That makes me want to build mine back up. Nice ride buddy
  5. I think he's a bit of a legend really. He's different certainly, but I think what he does it quite interesting
  6. That looks really nice Every part is just the way I would want it. No odd cheap bit. I'd have black hubs and paint the frame light blue though or yellow
  7. Look what I have done for all you lovely people; http://www.biketutorial.tk I have created a website to help peeps along the way with thier bikes. It ranges from fixing a puncture to servicing you chris king. The content will be updated and added too constantly. At present the last 6 pages under "controls" are not up yet but they will be by the end of the week. I didn't want to make it public untill it was all uploaded, but I couldnt hold it in any more You'll notice its simple, well thats because I made it in notepad, and wrote the whole script myself. I hope this helps many of you. I felt it was better suited in here, than under the websites fora. Sam
  8. Solidworks sucks so bad, AutoCAD is where it's at If want anything drafted up, I'll gladly do it if it's not too much
  9. As long as you wear your reboks, addidas and nike you'll be 'safe'.
  10. Onza Ronnie Just because it has a bad name, doesn't mean..
  11. As it says up there ^^ I need to build a wheel and I remember it was on that chart but the chart has gone!! Sam
  12. I'm trying to think of something constructive to do with all the used bottles. Any ideas?
  13. Awesome, thank you I'll link up to MJCycles on there!
  14. Hi, currently I am creating an online bike tutorial website, a bit like sheldon brown. Anyhow, I have had SO many problems with freewebs, web1000 and awardspace! So all I am after is someone that will let me host it on there server? Please It's all pretty much text style, all the images are uploaded to annother server. I can do FTP etc, so all I would need is a log-in and password. Thanks, Sam
  15. Well I dunno how to adjust the pressure, or even if I can. It does fire pretty hard on a fresh bottle though. It can handle fence panels.
  16. That's ok If you have any problems, PM me and I'll gladly help! Ah by the way, the hardest bit in servicing your King, is finding the right blooming size allen key for the bolt on the locking ring. If you can't find the right size anywhere, you can use a T10 torx key (the star shape allen keys) Edit: If you need any bits for your hub, from new seals to axles to whole hubs, I can sort you out, cheaper than most places on the web
  17. I'll help you out here.. Sam's 10 easy steps to servicing your King 1. Loosen off the little allen bolt on the left side of the hub that stops the axle from wobbling. Completely unscrew the ring and take it off. 2. (If you dont have an HD axle) Get out two 5mm allen keys and loosen off the axle ends but putting the keys in the axels and turning in oposite directions. 3. Grab the wheel with your left hand and with your right hand grab your casset and pull it outwards and twist it slightly backwards, this will pull the whole driveshell out. Simple. Your axle will also come out with this. 4. Clean off the helix splines on the driveshell with a tooth brush and WD40! 5. Put your finger in the hub and pull the drive rings apart to make a gap and flush WD40 (you may find using the little plastic tube that comes with the WD40 will make the job much easier) in there till its like a swimming pool. Shake all that out and dry it off with a rag, then flush it all again to get as much grime out as possible, and dry it off once more (as dry as possible). Ah yes, while you are doing this, try not to get too much WD40 on the bearings because it will flush the grease out of them. 6. Check that the splines on the driveshell are nice and clean again, and use the toothbrush again if you need to. 7. At this point, put your wheel down somewhere clean and go and wash your hands. This is so that you don't put anymore dirt back in your freshly cleaned hub! 8. Now get out your Finishline wet XC, open a gap between the driverings again with your finger, give the finishline ONE QUICK squeeze in there. Then with your finger still there, squirt in ONE QUICK squirt of WD40 again just to thin the Finishline out a bit more. 9. Again, one quick sqeeze of finishline on the splines of the driveshell, and a quick squirt of WD40 too. 10. Once your happy with the way it looks, carefully slide the driveshell and axle back into the hub, when it makes contact, push hard in and this time turn clockwise (oppoite way from getting it out). You'l feel it lock in place. Thats it! Well done! You have serviced your King! Give the wheel a quick spin to check it all runs freely and put the little locking ring back on the axle and tighen everything HANDTIGHT!! Hope this helps!!!
  18. Do your gas bottles last about 30 shots? I have a Gamo PT-80 which is supposed to be able to get 80 shots out of a 12gram bottle, but mine don't last half as long. Maybe I have a load of duff bottles? I put one of them in and there was no gas in one!! They're crossman co2 bottles, so prob a bit shit. How long do urs last?
  19. Sounds a bit beasty boys, what is it though? It's rocking my body
  20. I'm not coming now. I need to re-grind and cant find my tyre levers to take my tyre off, I need to re-bleed my back brake, and my forks are cracked.
