  1. I'm up for this! It's been a long time since I went riding and now that I've moved to London it would be good to learn where the good spots are.
  2. I'm in Oxford then so I'll be there
  3. Thanks needed that. Couldn't see any rocks on the satellite view (and street view hasn't been done for that road). Hopefully it'll be obvious when I go to Osney Mead tomorrow. I'll be getting off at Oxford Train station, anyone else going to be there?
  4. Hey guys been waiting for a big ride. I've been in Oxford for a few months and not had much response on the forums. So where is "the rocks"? A google map link would be appreciated Drop me msg on msn: delcypher "at" gmail "dot" com
  5. Hi I moved to Oxford about month ago but I haven't actually done any riding yet and I was wondering if anyone is riding at all this Friday or this weekend who'd be be willing to show me the riding spots. As a quick warning I am a trials unicyclist so it takes me a little longer to get from place to place. Cheers, Dan.
  6. Hey I'd love to go for a ride, unfortunately I've just moved here and have not found anyone to show me round so I don't know where any riding spots ARE! Just to warn you I ride a trials unicycle not a trials bike. If you don't mind that then we can try and hunt some trials spots today as I'm free this evening. If you're interested my mobile is 07535711647 Cheers, Dan.
  7. I am incredibly bored, unfortunately I don't know the area so I have no idea where "rocks" is... oh well there's always next weekend.
  8. Awesome, shame it's not this weekend though. What am I going to do this weekend?
  9. Hi I moved to Oxford a few weeks ago and I think it's hightime I got some riding in. I'm actually a trials unicyclist hopefully that won't bother people too much (did use to do bike trials though). I'm free this weekend so I was wondering if anyone was riding in Oxford this weekend who'd be willing to show me around seeing as I don't know the area at all. Cheers, Dan.
  10. cheers, it's sorted now. Some how i managed to bleed lever to caliper instead of caliper to lever. Shows how good my memory is. Thanks guys
  11. it wasn't anyhelp, i don't want to do a water bleed. I'm talking about a normal bleed with a bleeding kit.
  12. I check the search but didn't find anything relevent. Basically I spent my evening trying to re-bleed my brake with no luck, there are massive amounts of air in the system. The syringe had (practically) no air in it and all the hose connections are tight, I also replaced the olive on the lever end of the hose. Basically once the whole system is apparently filled with fluid (no more bubbles coming out of the vent tube (which goes into my pot of fluid) (the syringe is still connected) as i unscrew the vent tube as its on its last few threads suddenly loads of air bubbles come rushing out through it and then the brake is useless. Does anyone know whats going on????
