  1. Good Afternoon Im looking to buy a mod... its a decent price but the seller wants £25 postage? Does that seem a lot? The bike will be going from Torfaen in Wales, to Bedford in Bedfordshire, it's about 150/160 Miles i reckon. Any views on this? Cheers Connor
  2. Does anybody know if epoxy resin would be strong enough for him to use?
  3. If you have the money then go for it... However i wouldnt be to keen on running dual disc as a complete beginner, because there may be few risky bails
  4. I suppose once I get validated and chat to more validated members, thus get the scene my opinion may change
  5. I have to say I am against this style of Validation... I do understand why it is this way, to stop the forum getting clogged up with in-active and bell-end members. However I do feel that only having a restriction on the classified section, say having to have at least 50 posts or similar would promote a much closer relationship between the forum and the new members. A simple way to keep the forum clean of in-active members would just be to wipe the accounts after say 3/4 weeks of inactivity? Like I say this is only my opinion and I remeber a lot of problems when I first signed up over a year ago about being validated. Its a shame the system hasnt been reviewed but oh well...
  6. im in bedford.. lol pretty good scene here
  7. Hello... Im moving into london soon for uni, and as i'll be right in the center i dont think the d.j scene is too big... So im looking to get back into trials. I used to ride a 20" Base... TA20 i think it was. Now after being inspired by Danny Mac and having always loved the feel of one of the local riders 24" (Rago-Muffin i think he is on here) i am looking for a new 24 I'm still unsure what im gonna do with my Kona Im sure i'd sell it though for the correct price
  8. If your cranks are starting to round, quick bodge... Cut strips of a can, wrap them round bb arm thing, then put crank over. Like I say, its a bodge, but should stop a fair bit of movement till you can replace them.
  9. Ha, when I was actually into trials biking, I tried so hard to become validated. However due to the way to over strict rules, I was never validated and so haven't been on here in ages. To be honest, I feel the mods just pick and choose who they want to validate, with no real Fair selection process. The next stage for this forum is for it to become invite by mods only...
  10. search on ebay for bmx easy to wheelie lol. Loads of people have 20" trials bikes without realising what they act are.. makes me laugh
  11. i think special shoes is a waste of time and money. i wear whatever shoes im wearing at the time i feel like riding. are you gonna get a special outfit that you change into everytime you ride aswell?
  12. ha i just got back from marseille like an hour ago. i didnt have my bike though. went a whole week without it x
  13. seriously... who would trust trials bikers to case a £1000 check, then send 800 back to them? i mean we could all do with some new parts
  14. I hate buying new parts to use with old parts, which is why i try to replace as much at once as i can. It makes me feel odd riding with like well brand new forks, but oldish other parts
  15. the drone is only singlespeed though isn't it? do you definately want a new bike? because there are some pretty good 2nd hand bike knocking around.
  16. ha i sold my trials bike today... now i have some spare cash to spend on my kona yay
  17. long shot..but having the chain way too tight?
  18. um i started riding dirt a while back, cus it was the thing to do! then i bought a trials bike just because it looked fun!
  19. To be perfectly honest, i think spelling is a bit of a harsh thing to be not validated for. Okay fair enough this isnt text, and so no-one should be using text talk. But after all this is a trials forum, and not some govermenty sort of thing. Guilpu is a perfect example of how its hard for new members to be validated, because if your just reading his post, it would first seem that he is either lazy or dyslexic, but on discovery of the fact he is speaking a foreign language, as long as his posts are on topic, it is unfair for him not to be validated, because he spells the odd word wrong or his grammer isnt perfect....
  20. This may make me sound a bit stupid... but how do u get your hands on tar? Do u just like steal some tarmac when theres a road being resurfaced? Or can you actually buy something?
  21. it does take a while, but no need to get grumpy about it
  22. "you will be validated in no time " lol
  23. Welcom to the forum mate. Yeh just have fun chatting and giving advice. WOW your only 10? thats awesome, i know i only touched a trials rig when i was about 15/16 lol. x
