  1. I believe it was TTown... Matt has done this as well, you might be able to get some info from him. Congrats!!
  2. While OTN could be frustrating and annoying to read at times, it was by far the best trials resource for US riders. It will be a shame if it is gone forever.
  3. There are a few things that I dislike about putting videos on youtube rather than a download link: 1. The resolution is usually very low, making it annoying to watch. 2. If you want to watch the video again in the future, you have to go searching for it and hope that it hasn't been removed. If it is downloadable, you can just save it if it is good. 3. I can't always get on youtube at work People should put up youtube and tv.isg

    Tyre Fit

Another method that I use when a tire is giving me trouble is to spray some aerosol silicon lubricant around the bead of the tire. This makes it easier to slide it over the rim, and it evaporates fairly quickly. If you get it on your rim, just drag your brake for a couple seconds and you'll be set.
  5. Did you over-tighten the bolt holding the lever assembly to the handlebar?
  6. That part is the lower arm of the tensioner(with the pulley attached to it):
  7. Here's what you need to do: -Plug your iPod into your computer -In iTunes, click on your iPod, it will bring up a picture of your iPod and the categories "iPod", "Version", and "Options" -Under "Options", make it so that the box for "Manually manage music and videos" is checked. You will then have to manually drag songs to your iPod when you want to add them, but you will be able to get music from other people's computers easily. When this box is unchecked, it will automatically delete any songs that are on your iPod, but not in your iTunes.
  8. Also, how many trials riders lube their King hubs with the suggested lube? Everyone uses a much lighter lube because it works better for trials. You can also bleed with WD40, which has a nice feel to it.
  9. The difference between distilled water and tap water is the amount of mineral content. So really, it would be "better" to use distilled water, to prevent mineral build-up in the cylinders, but it probably wouldn't be a noticeable difference until after about 20 years.
  10. As much as I hate the evo mounts, I think you would be better off using them. I'm not sure if anyone else makes V to HS-33 adapters. You will lose frame strength when you cut out the V mount. (some will be gained back when you weld on the HS33 mounts) You will ruin the heat treatment in that area when you weld on the HS33 mounts.
  11. I honestly wish that more forums had this validation stuff. It keeps the actual forum less frustrating to read (Text talk, awful spelling and grammar)It eliminates spam posts since any bot user cannot post in the real forumIt eliminates worthless usersYou can still read posts on the forum, and if you really need to participate, you can email the user you want to respond to.
  12. If you just get a tapping kit, you will also have to drill out the magura mount, so that a larger bolt will fit through, which also means that you will have to use a different bolt. Also, if you somehow screw up when you try the helicoil, you can still probably drill it out and retap it to 6mm or something. I'm pretty sure that the size you want to get is an M5 helicoil kit, which should (if it is a half-way decent kit) come with the correct tap. Remember that when you are tapping (either for the helicoil or the larger bolt) that you need to back it out 1/4 or 1/2 turn for every 1-2 turns in. This lets the metal shavings to escape into the flutes of the tap.
  13. So do you stand on the chainstays? You should definitely get some pictures of you doing tailwhips.
  14. Remember that it is a good idea to use a lubricant with the steel wool to avoid damaging the lacquer finish. There are a few different brands that make a lubricant specifically for using steel wool. You can also apply paste wax after you are finished to give it a little bit more gloss. Good luck with it!
  15. IF it saved it, here is how to find it. Under 'Tools' select 'Options' Select the 'Security' tab There is a button for 'Show Passwords'. This lists the website and username. Under the box, there is another 'Show Passwords' button. Click that, and verify that you want to show the passwords, and another column will appear, with the corresponding password.
