  1. haha...this happens to me alot here...mostly because the chinese people have never seen a trial bike before. they always ask me and i fully understand what they are saying...but i just say "i dont understand what your saying" back in chinese before riding off. plus...my bike is worth a year of their salary...so theres no chance im letting them go on it. but i have let some people ride it...its funny when they TRY to jump...normally just lift the front wheel up before faceplanting. i also have back brake lever on right side...which is opposite to what everyone else rides...so its funny to see them pull down hard on the front brake lever with them thinking its the back...and having a hydraulic disc brake means they normally go over the handle bars. good times....
  2. you guys should teach in china...in a public school you would work 15-20 hours a week for a 4000 (possibly more) yuan salary. ok not much when you convert it to pounds but considering the average wage is 800 yuan a month for most people and university professors get paid 1500 - 2000 a month, my salary is great...can live comfortably here. FYI...my GU stock bike with all echo parts cost 5600 yuan...takes not long to save up at all
  3. haha yeh thats always a point. guess need to "open my eyes" more
  4. i would love to try natural...but unfortunately for me in living in china where there doesnt seem to be anything natural...anywhere. where i come from in england (derbyshire) must be loads of natural riding but i only got into trials when i came to china (mostly because i can afford a good bike here) guess im missing out on alot here
  5. beautiful looking bike but..remove the stickers
  6. happened to me when i went to korea. i flew with aeroflot and had to stop off in russia to transfer plan. so when i got to korea...i found out my suitcase was still in the moscow airport...which means that for a week i went with out ANY spare clothes, and toiletries. eventually it arrived in korea but i now have that same fear that everytime i travel somewhere...that my suitcase wont be in the same country as me. think i had some sort of emergency plan in my insurance to cover this but...to be honest...would have been alot of hassle and i really couldnt be bothered.
  7. i use 0 fingers....im hardcore
  8. well...if it was a woman...id hit it. how does it feel to ride? but why the stickers on the forks?

  10. im even going to impregnate a woman and have a kid...just so i can give it this bike
  11. would be pretty hard to do trials with 2 braking fingers...as you would lose the ability to get a good grasp on the handle bars to be able to do....any trick
  12. i kind of have a spare...my old mod bike i keep incase my stock breaks (perfect example...yesterday snapped BB) however because the spare is a different size bike...have to adapt to the mod...and being 6"6 this is not a so easy task
  13. ok my friend in china, who also rides trials, recommended to me a bb made by NEON? he said its stronger than echo but i need a second opinion. does anyone know about it or use one?
  14. thanks...il try to find it. dont know how much luck i will have being here in china...might be easy to find but really echo and zhi are by far the easiest parts to get hold of

  17. same thing happens to mine...although mine isnt V!Z. if i tighten it REALLY tight..it seems to last longer and doesnt get loose too easy. if you find out any other way besides this board...please post so i can follow the advice

  19. isis BB. thinking of trying a V!Z or a try-all....any info on these brands?
  20. ok...so out on my GU...which ive had for just a little over a month now....and havent been out too much due to the heat and the rain here in china. anyway...side hop off a pretty high ledge results in my echo BB snapping upon landing (note to self...buy a helmet!!) so i need a recommendation...are there any BB's that are stronger than an echo?i would have thought a well known company part would have lasted longer than a month.weight is not an issue here...only strength
