    Inspired!

Hi Guys, Good evening. Just thought i'd post a picture of my Inspired, only have the one photo at the minute, But will get some more ASAP!, Big thanks to the lads at Tarty for sorting us out with it, Had it a couple of months now, Is so smooth to ride though it just freewheels everywhere! A nice to change from the Mod! Thanks for looking, Ben.
  3. Thinking about it now, You're right lol.
  4. Have you got an Air compressor by any chance?, If so use the airline, Get it in the inside of the grip & also push it on with your hand as well, the airline has enough force to push it on, I know Foam grips can be a bit of a pig to get on.
  5. I find it works if you get heat into the disc & pads, Go ride it & use the brake really hard, Just ride up & down your street or something & put a lot of pressure on the brake. I know it gets rid of lubricants, It can take a while, But it does work, Or instead you could just use some brake cleaner if you have some. Also if your pads are contaminted take them out & spray them with brake cleaner also.
  6. Ok, WIll try re-bleeding it, & if that fails, I'll buy a brake booster for it.
  7. Nope, I said with the TPA fully in, you can more a less still pull the brake lever to the bars. I think there is a bit of flex in the frame but not very much, I think there is air in the system, Will try bleeding it. I set the brake up with where I want the lever to bite at, But it will pull into the bars, I'm probably missing something more to the point though lol.
  8. Hi, The pads are definatly close enough to the rim, I can see the slave cylinder pushing out when you pull hard on the lever, The pads do make contact quickly & feels a bit spongy, But Can't really see it needing re-bleeding already as the brake is only about 1 & a half month old Also When I say fully tenioned, I mean that the adjuster on the lever is tightened up & you can still more a less pull it into the bars. Cheers for your help Ben.
  9. Cheers, Got them sorted out now, Also got another bit of a problem though, I have a pretty much new Magura HS11 (New Version), & it is great but, When the pads are set up correctly & the lever is set up, If you squeeze the lever quite hard it will pull right the way into the bars, It happens even if the lever is fully tensioned up, Can't understand it really Because the brake is pretty much brand new.
  10. Cheers, Sorted it now.
  11. Hi, I'm having some trouble setting my pads up on my hs33, Is there a certain way of doing them?, I'm really used to disc brakes rather than rim brakes, But any help would be brilliant, Cheers, Ben.
  12. Haha lol, I'd go for the Carbon Protector, Looks like a good bit of kit, Surely it has to be better than denting & scratching your frame, When I was at the NEC Motorcycle show the other week, Pro-Carbon had some of there products there & I went to have a chat with them, Seemed like really good quality products.
  13. Are you sure, I though the start of the season is in Scarborough like last year.
  14. Looks Awesome Mark, Liking the stealth colour scheme!
  15. Takumi Narita is a legend in Trials, The bike is a 1994 Beta Techno, To think someone could do stuff like that on a bike so old is seriously impressive, There is also a video on youtube with Takumi riding a New scorpa TY-S 125f, which is impressive, Some other vids here of him riding the same bike. Also just to see how much trials has changed, Have a watch at this video with Toni Bou, But I still prefer watching Takumi!
  16. I see what your saying Gary, your probably right, was worth mentioning though, I only just realised your the Gary Mac as the scottish & expert A class champion, Are you still riding for Shirty next season? Edit, Just read your post on the first page.
  17. I ride Moto trials also, I've started of with an 04 sherco 80, then a 08 125 GasGas Racing, Then a GasGas 300 pro 09, & now a 2010 Beta evo 290, I had enough with gassers breaking down (the 300) so I decided to get a Beta instead & never ever regret it, I prefer riding Motorcycles to Cycle bikes though, I find the techniques that you learn on the cycle bike, with some practice you can transfer over to motorcycle, I'd love to see Danny Mac have a try have on a moto trials bike
  18. Nice to see you decided to have the same colour scheme as mine!, Looks awesome!
  19. What a Legend, Nobody in the trials world is a slight patch on Bou, Even Didac cercos looked suprised at some of the techniques he did in that video, What another awesome video from Sergio.
  20. Agreed, if all they want to do is cause trouble like that, They should F**K off back to their own country. People like them cause more s**t in this country than anyone else. How much more disrespectful can you get than that.
  21. Ben H!

    Mini Moto

It'll be down to the throttle cable, Have a fidle about with it while it's running, Should do the trick.
  22. Thinking of getting one of these for my inspired, when it's built up, Let me know if it's any good.
  23. Chill out mate, that's my advice for you. But seriously fix the brake you have now, Why spend £75 on something that isn't really needed, Just get some new cylinders, Save yourself some dosh!
  24. Cheers Again Mark, Is this the right Hope stem http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=11183&category_id=41 Got my Inspired Powder Coated in a light green, Looks Awesome, Should be dropping in Tarty soon hopefully for some bits.
