  5. I started my account back in 2007 lol and I think i used the forum once to find about a problem i was having, then loads of months after i was searching on the internet i stumbled across the forum again and had a good look round the site. I have started using it alot this last week and im validated and theres alot more freedom to be had haha. Nick
  6. Fair point I will put it for sale on here as well as ebay (on here as in classified adds). I didn't think of it like that before i posted this thread so. sorry lol. I dont know how to get pictures up when i sell stuff though lol it asks me for the URL and I get confused. TY Nick
  7. I would't expect that to work. Im gonna try that next time as its harmless to the bike lol Nick

  10. (hope this is a square taper dude) I had a very stiff BB once and i had tried everything with my tool. and i left my farmer boy step-dad to have ago. He has one go with the BB tool and just stopped! Grabbed his welder and welded the axle to the cap of the BB. Then grabbed a monkey wrench (stillsons) and it came of quite easily. Give that a go. Nick
  11. Ebay Plenty of high spec parts!
  12. I have an Echo Team and i think its awsome. I go to all the comps and i never saw one Team other than mine, not even some posh git on a new one! They were all riding Lites? So you do stand out a bit on the Team, but in a good way. Nick
  13. Shipley Glen, Addingham Moorside and deer park wasn't bad Nick
  14. I think trials biking shoots itself in the foot a bit as it is such an intimidating sport. I think if id been introduced to the sport by watching a Danny Macaskill Video i'd of never of saved a load of money up for my first trials bike. Not saying im anywhere near his level but i really enjoy the sport like many others. Nick
  15. One of the first things you should realise is that there are lots of different phases in trials (so you shouldn't feel intimidated by the stage you are at). When you have got used to your bike. Pivoting and general balance should be your prime objective. As i dont know how good you are i could sound a little patrionising. Anyway pivoting is where you hold both brakes in fairly hard so the bike is unable to move, and you move your body fairly suddenly to make the back wheel and front wheel lift to gain you more and more balance at the static speed you are at (simple). The reason this is done is because it allows you to set yourself up for an obstacle or hill. Trials will become very boring if all your do is pivot all day, so making sections will let you get more fun out of your riding and still be able to learn the pivoting skills. (just include alot of pivoting in). Get used to riding on natural terrain aswell as street as natural riding is much more of a challenge! Lerching/ Back-hop: This should come after you have learnt to pivot and get a good style on your bike. Look on www.Trashzen for an explanation of this as i might forget something. Hope this helps. Nick P.S those bike are awsome i ride an Echo Team 20"
  16. ah yeh he put, "my pure!" i didn't let that sink in haha. Nick Is that quote you have of, sam oliver at cowling pinnacle lol?
  17. thats bikes trule awsome is it a zoo pitbull because mines similar geometry i think.
  18. czar cranks are going for as little as £60 at www.tartybikes.co.uk, they have the 7075 alloy so they cant be half bad. I also run a monty Ti freewheel which ive had for about 3/4 of a year and that too is fantastic. I find some, like the tensile ones really noisy, but maybe i'm being fussy haha.(and theres an extra 10 engagements over a tensile one) Cant speak out for the bashring as i havn't built up my stock bike yet. hope this helps. Nick
  19. agreed! for example Ebay example Comp Bike
  20. go on ebay and get a fantastic mod for no more than £300. If your a begginer you dont really need a new bike as your going to be falling off alot. You get alot for your money. e.g Echo Monty Koxx Pashley for about £200 you can get yourself an Onza (t-pro) so... i'd keep your options open. hope this helps. Nick
  21. I have one of these and i have just got the rear will sorted for it. I went to my nearest specialist trials shop (ordinary bike shop will do but you will need to take the 116mm hub to then with a rim with correct number of spoke holes) and with a 135mm rear wheel and asked them to make it fit onto this frame £77 end off lol (i got a 116mm monty disc hub put on for that amount and it was built by that keighly rider wayne mohomet lol Nick P.S anymore questions on this bike drop a mesage. Im running a front free-wheel with rear fixed-spocket. For the handlebars and stem i looked on a youtube video of Danny Holroyd himself and tried to get some ideas from his setup. But setups differ from how big you are, so it cant be to accurate looking at his bike as its all down to personal prefence. I havn't decided what im doing with my handlebars and stem yet.
