  1. alot of wheels do that, it sounds to me there not tight enough. Its just where the spokes cross over each other. I would get a shop to tighten them and like some other chap said, de-strees it by pushing on the wheel. Then maybe if nothing else works just put a small piece of paper where the spokes cross .... haha

  2. To get noticed i think you have to do compertions .. yes you can go on big meets, for example the London ride which will help, but to have rankings on paper to prove how you do is a result. I remember i always wanted to be a profesional rider when i was younger, but i have found my trials riding has got to a point and haven't acheived anything bigger or better really. Not pushing myself as much as i used too. I have to say though i just enjoy riding with mates and having a laught, yes it would be good to get free bits and discount, people to come upto you .. "Hi are you .... Yes, YEs i am!" Good luck to you though!, James Sheridon managed to get really good in about 7-8 years ........

  3. Q: How much did your bike cost?

A: A million billion canadian dollars

Q: whos the best out of you lot?

    A: Not me!

haha, i normally get asked those. I say it stole it, and it was for sale in the reply to the first question.

The second one you always get, i normally say we don't ride just use bikes as a look, like you get the kids who carry skate boards around.

  4. i would spend the money and get it done by argosracing cycles. Think they charge £80 to machine out the shell to press a new one into it. Its the best solution really. Welding a heat treated frame could cause it to fratigue .. which wouldn't be good. Trust me i have had welding done on a orange zero once, never again! Broke near enough straight away

  5. i have some pictures of one i had years ago, i will try and dig them out for you. I had fatty r forks, hope headset with bulb front and rear hubs on a sun ryno lite rim. Irc elgato tyres, magura race line on the back with a hope C2 brake. Azonic bar and tioga stem. Middleburn super pro trials cranks, single speed set up ... was lush!

  6. i would bleed the brake enough so you can get one side of the caliper moving, then use something to hold the moving calipers (spanner etc) then pull the leaver till you get a bit of movement. Then just drop a small amount of dot 4/5.1 fluid around the pistons to try and free them up abit. Only thing you can do really, then if you manage to get the pistons out, use some brake cleaner or some of the wynns fuel injector cleaner to get all the dirt and muck out and re bleed the system again !!

  7. as im new to the trials game i was wondering on what items people have in there bags when they go out for a days trialing?as in spares and tools etc.looking for the essentials.don't want the bag being to heavy

well on the london ride i had

    pump

    4 26" tubes

    4 20" tubes

    2 spare maguras

    spare chain

    alleny keys

    torx keys

    cassette tool

    chain whip

    bottom bracket tool

    crank puller

    adjustable spanner

    pedals spanner

    disc brake cleaner

spare magura pads and 4 bolt mounts

and i must say, it weighed a ton! Never again

  8. only thing is i would make sure your brakes will adjust enough for the rims. If your using disc your fine, but maguras or v-brakes, just make sure the mounts are a good width apart ... if that makes any sense

  9. what a good day, not long got in the door. .! decided to call it a night when i nearly face planted a wall, sweet! I really want to see the pictures the chap in the yellow jacket was taking! The turn out was huge, didn't realise so many people would turn up. The one that happened a few years ago was about 1/10th of the size! Helped some lad out with a new tube, even though totally regret taking half my whole tool box with me, my back is killing!!
