Ipod Bob replied to bike030207's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
even if the frame weighs in at 1kg i'd still say 9kg easy -
Why Arnt There Any Good Topic'S In The Newbie Section?
Ipod Bob replied to aidanb93's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
For some reason I believe you are annoyed about not being a full member otherwise you wouldn't state it and would carry on regardless. Although i can see your point about NMC being a bit small talk sometimes maybe you should take time to read FMC and NMC to find a good topic to start and get a good debate on. I would agree watching videos probably is a good way to learn, but talking always helps. Even if it is to get your self in the Trials-forum system. Just to make things clear i've been a member since 05-December 07 being in NMC until only just a few weeks ago, if you create uninteresting topics and usually end in" please dev's validate me i love trials" like i used to before i grew up a little and took time to read and respond accordingly on these forums you probably wont get validated. ( I'm not stating you need to grow up here ) I only got into FMC after 3 years because i didn't put the effort in to make good responsive topics that people can actually input to. So really considering you've only been a member since Christmas time ish its nothing really to be concerned about. As for the new members validating each other, it would be a silly idea. You could simply make several accounts and bOOm your done. I regularly take time to respond to NMC because others did for me. I feel the system works maybe it should be 10 votes but meh I'm not to decide. All the best, Stefan -
Help How To Get Up On Somthing Big
Ipod Bob replied to thetrialsmaster's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I'm currently learning to tap off the front edge of walls helps tons if you can get it right but yes practice on smaller things and slowly build up your confidence and skills. Try and watch different videos, keeping a close eye on their foot positions and how the bike and body moves while going up obstacles. I would watch 1 move for example a multitude of times then go out and practice until i'd done it a few times. god speed and good luck -

I wanna see what uldis says about the radiation nutters
-
Well its only REALLY bad if you inhale or ingest some kind of contamination, you'd be surprised how much radiation you would acquire from simply being in the sun. I don't reckon you'd get much contamination round that place but i would imagine there would be some radiation coming from the soil pretty much everywhere.
-
cool vid, isn't there radiological signs anywhere around there. Im slightly intrigued because I've worked on nuclear sites before and radiation just don't disappear lol
-
ha bonfire it is, ill have a spectacular beach party with parts of my DoB thrown on lol thanks. Yeah welding seemed pretty bad once i got a look at the insides of the joints, i would imagine with the stresses of trials welding joints has to be fairly precise but DoB is magnesium alloy so i can hardly complain really.

That was a wet dream I had the other night, saw a bloke on a limey 3 the other day i think ill just nick his bike hawhahawha. Don't recon he would notice.
-
I didnt, it lasted 2 months but i've had the frame for about 2 years just sitting around doing nothing as I quit trials for a couple years while I chased a career path. I had rims as well but the front one folded in half when i stacked on some natural haha, rear one has a few dents but is going strong surprisingly.
-
It was from trials-uk about 2 years ago i cant imagine there any point in trying really, receipt would have been lost also i imagine.
-
Well 2 months of use and here are the results wooohooo. Maybe I shouldn't of done that 7ft drop the other day lol
-
That is just retarded im sorry but you spent god knows how long creating a masterpiece that several people wont see. Pointless taking it off.
-
I dont usually comment on videos but, put simply i loved it. Some sick moves, epic camera shots and all round awesomeness. That hook on weird statue thing was rocking. good effort.
-
To me that looks like an Epic Fail. I'd rather buy an old smashed up piston sticking 04 model
-
Probably be better to break the bike down into parts and sell it that way but i don't recon anyone on here would buy the frame. You might get £300 for parts but then you have to consider postage prices as well.
-
street life cycles could probably help you
-
Yeah ill take D.A.T with the buy now pay in a year lol or maybe you do S.I.T.'s (Special Insurance Thefts by Darryl)
-
I'm not going to anymore the evidence is too compelling and considering even their Sale hotline number doesn't even work i've binned the idea now, but i have limited money and would really like a nice frame this sucks, how can I get £600 Did someone say insurance job ?
-
ignore this
-
Sounds like my life story haha, but yes i'm also doing bigger and more technical stuff but at 23 i feel 'im only getting started. I've got a lot of fighting to go before I get old I tell you
-
I can do more than i ever could on my mod, apart from side hop height but im getting there do not fret, you will be fine. Just pull your finger out and put some effort it best of luck m8
-
well thanks for the advice i kinda of have a decision, as i dont have more than £150 for a frame, i would probably phone them check its in stock first ect ect and hope for the best. Or wait till my frame snaps and wait a month till i have £350 to buy a decent one. I would like a TMS Evo but hey dreams are limited by income here haha. is there anything about small claim courts that you know about ? you seem to be knowledgeable.
-
Shame they don't sell the same frame, trials uk one is 116mm and 09 tartybikes neon bow is the 2.5 model 2010 i believe. Thanks anyway thats good information i never knew.
