I LOVE this pic!!!
I think it was Joe I saw do a line at Koxx Days, I was literally speachless, absolutely insance skill and guts! Big respect.
-
Crazy power and technique as ever! I need to come and ride your indoor place, looks cool!
Really liked the editing and some of the angles in this, looks like you've taken a lot of time and thought, definitely paid off!
Hopefully the change of sposnor will be a happy one for you .

Loved it Mr Joe!
Variety *** .
Makes me wanna ride soooooooo bad!
Roll on the next video .
-
That is coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool! haha
It'd probably be the first trials bike my gf actually genuinely likes! lol
Good work!
-
Oooh, that colour scheme reminds me of a bike I had! Not an Inspired unfortunately.
Looks a reassuringly tough build without being silly, good work!

Personally it's either plain water or water with some sort of sugary stuff in (either ribena and actual sugar, or just ribena).
I wouldn't recommend drinking energy drinks like Redbull etc, they work ace for a short time, then you'll start to dehydrate, causing problems with your muscles and brain related functions like judgement and decision making etc.
Hydration is such a massive topic it's scary, water with diluted orange squash or ribena etc with a bit of sugar is the best bet (about 5% sugar). If you get super deep in to it there's other stuff to add, but I wouldn't worry about that until you start training for the olympics! hehe
-
I'm liking it! The super-polished fattys look sweet
Gears! hehe. To be fair, if I wasn't weight-weeny-ing mine I'd have some gears too, I miss the convenience for getting from place to place.
Good pedal choice too
-
Yep, I did consider it. But then it turned out that the weight you save by having an alu sprocket is less than the weight you add by having a wider chain .
-
Nice Wes!
By the sounds of things it rides as good as it looks....132cm sidehop, new personal best on the first ride? Well, so a little bird told me! hehe
Definitely a nice evolution from the Cannibal.
-
You big PIMP!!
That's so nice! Get a front disc brake on and you're well away!
Looking forward to riding it, I can imagine how it will ride, but I bet it rides 100 times better than in my head! haha
Don't break it before I ride it, I don't wanna be trying damaged goods!

Could anyone from the midlands/notts area do me a favour and take some tee's down for me? Not silly amounts, just I've foolishly booked my flight with hand luggage only, not thinking the tees would be here in time!
Obviously I can reimburse the courier in the form of some free tees, couple of parts, sexual favours? If anyone can help out, drop me a message on msn or email me: dave@inspiredbicycles.com
Ta guys, can't wait!

Awesome vid! Really made me want to get out a ride .
I like the mixture of streety 180 bunnyhops and manuals and sidehops/gaps etc. I need to learn those 180 bunnyhops!!!!!!
Keep it up, sexy!
-
Liking the vid!
Your style of riding is good too, nice variety of lines and styles, from the techy balance lines to plain gaps to linked 'sections'. Good stuff, really made me want to ride

On a smooth rim Rock Greens kick ass!
On a ground rim they're awesome but you'll get better life out of the blues.
That said, the blues are bloody good on a smooth rim too! haha
-
Make sure your arms are bent. A lot of people learning keep their arms straight, so it makes the front end too far in front of them and it'll fall down too easy.
Personally for super controlled tiny movements I'd have my elbows almost at 90 degrees to the bars are pretty close to my chest. Keeping everything close to your centre of gravity (bending your arms helps this a lot) makes things much more balanced .
But as people have said, practise makes perfect!
-
Erm, I think I explained it badly! lol
The two halves of the clamp (that are there when it isn't snapped! hehe) would normally be separated by some air, even when tight?
As it's snapped I'd expect a gap between the underside of the bolt head and the face of the snapped piece of clamp it normally pushes on if there is no gap where there's normally a gap.
Argh, I'm confusing myself now! Billy Connoly is distracting me!

Bessell is like my brother, he know's me far to well lol
Inside and out I hear .
Nice bike, hurry up and get Koxx Days done with so you can get back on the Inspired! hehe
I know why you got one though, when I tried Adam's DOB it upset me how light and bouncy it was!
-
Out of interest, did you tighten the bolt further after it snapped? Doesn't look much of a gap between the snapped bit of clamp and the main body, like the gap is completely closed if you know what I mean?
Probably just the angle of the picture and my crappy eyes though! hehe
-
Oooh, something it could be....
Are all the components the same age? If a new cog is used with an old chain or vice-versa big annoying skipping problems can happen!
Check chain alighnment, oild your chain, check the chain passes through the mech cages ok (if you have spaced the mech to make the chain fit, make sure you haven't re-tightened the jockey wheels so tight they can't spin, I've done it before, whoops! hehe), can the chain be shortened, enough chain-wrap?
Drivetrain, what a nightmare! lol
-
If I'm right and it's skipping on the 12t cog, it could be a chain-wrap problem. According to the angle the chain is coming off the back sprocket, it could be running on just 4 or so teeth (especially if you 'down tension' with a tensioner or have a mech that is a, locked out with the main arm down away from the chainstay or b, not locked out and the chain is a little long).
Any pics of your set-up? Running with any tensioner on a sprocket as small as 12t will be tricky.Bbut with super tight tensioner and preferably a lower chain lin going either perfectly horizontal from the bottom of the rear cog or preferably upwards, things could be sorted .
In the mean time, don't hit your knee on your stem too hard, hurts like a bitch!
-
For blue I'd go Hope every time! Their colour matching between parts is the best I've ever seen!! Just got myself some blue Hope parts (headset, hubs, seat clamp) from Tarty Bikes ready for my new Inspired build.
Do it, Hope Hope Hope! Quality of design, manufacture and finishing is pretty much un-paralleled for the price!
-
Noooo, was that Cap?
Booo, there'll be nothing left for me to ride next time I visit, it'll all be bashed in to submission!
Hehe, only joking Cappy, love you!
You guys may have the riding obstacles, but I have the Dairy Milk! mwahaha!
