  1. I hate it that when i wanna ride well, and my mind is not up to par on that day. That i can't summon up the mental ability to ride that line, that certain section. Hate it that i can't jump high enough everytime. I hate it when i'm not riding, and that i have to work.... I hate the price of ze bikes....bloody expensive....so damn..lol. I hate Fear most of all. Yet BikeTrial pushes me to face it, and stand up again when i fall.
  2. It really depends on the rider. The top riders can play both...so it really is the Rider, not the Bike. Most Montys have a shorter WB so i guess it would be good for street.
  3. yup make sure they're set up properly, that the length of the pads sit squarely onto the rims... Also when you press the lever make sure the whole length of the pad touches the rims at the same time Not one faster den the other....if it does it means your pads are slanted. Make sure to make them straight. That should solve your slipping problems.... Might wanna try...heatsinks... for me, the old echos work well. Oh yes make sure your rims are not contaminated with polish or oil.
  4. Yep...done get the TRY-ALL shoes, their parts are...nice...but just not the shoes...
  5. Might wanna try Monty shoes, they're not too bad. Or a shoe with those Davos soles(same as the Montys).
  6. I would try the Kamel....but if you're going for price and perhaps durability....take the Zoo.... Ur Czar looks pimped....would like to own one....one day, once my 221pr is maxed out.
  7. Thank you.. *sorry for the blank post...* oops
  8. Was thinking of getting those red heatsinks with CNC backings...but i heard that they could break your pistons. Is that true? I'm currently using Echo brake pads (pink) without the "funky" Echo logos. They're good, nice sticky feel to it. They hold very well too. But for my next brake pads, i'd really wish to try the heatsinks. Just wanna get that "done USE CNC BACKING PADS THEY CLD BREAK UR PISTONS" sorted out. Thanks!
  9. Hi my name is Joshua, I come from Singapore,im 23 this yr. I did BikeTrial in 2000 till 2002 then i stopped, due to my injuries. Now im back again. I recently bought a 221PR 06 Model from Monty Singapore. I'm an average rider..nothing massive..i just love to ride. This is my bike. Monty 221PR Full Bike. Monty 4 Pawl Freewheel. Echo (Pink Brake Pads). Shimano Dura-ace Chain. Magura Louise (front). Magura Hs 33 (back). Was thinking of changing the tyres to Try All. Upgrading the rims to the TI rims and hubs. Upgrading the cranks and bb to the Isis type. Upgrading the headset to Chris Kings (nt much diff though) Run a pair of Magura Martas on it. Lol but all these upgrades would be equivalent to me buying another bike. I just hope this bike last me through the next 2-3 years. The frame is starting to flex at the rear brake mounts and my old Monty boosters can't seem to fit. The intergrated boosters seem to be welded a lil further from maggie mounts unlike the 05 Ti. Any boosters to recommend that wld fit this 06 pr? Thanks. mmm i bought this bike in Dec 07.
