Dude, you mean the Volvo Cannondale downhill Jersey, in red?! I used to have one, but it was lycra, not loose. Not sure if it had yellow sleeves though, but when I'm back in Bonn I'll have a look. I think it did! Later I then got the loose blue/white DH jersey. SOOOOOOO COOL! Then I still had my old Cannondale, the one preceeding my Ashton which was stolen unfortunately!! Thanks Yeah it is a wee bit harder... I remember my mate had a neon red 'Devil' bike back then and it had a completely different feel to it.. Haha apart from that I must say I've never ridden another trials bikes - don't even mention mods. Maybe I should try some day... I grew up in Bonn and back then it was incredibly difficult to find anything in Germany relating to trials. That's why I always loved coming to the UK to visit my gran - I was in heaven being able to read MBUK and actually seeing trials stuff/pics/articles published! (Where I first fell in love with the Cannondale Ashton) Unfortunately my bike is still in Bonn right now, sitting in the garage, so I can't weigh it. Uhm but I guess around 10kg maybe?! Just became a full member so I though I'd show off my pride in the real forum to celebrate Here's my Cannondale Ashton =) The specs are: - XTR rear derailleur/cassette - CODA Tarantula crankset (removed large chain ring) - XT BB/Hubs - SRAM Attack - Magura HS33 hydraulic brakes - Chris King headset - Azonic DH stem and bar - Mavic D521 Ceramic rims - IRC ElGato DH tires What do you guys think? As I'm just getting back into it I'm thinking of doing it up a little... I was thinking of changin the saddle to the Coda Competition Mountain Saddle Volvo/Cannondale Team Edition (image link: http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=h...ficial%26sa%3DN ) but as mentioned before it's impossible to find! Any ideas where i could get one?!?! Or know anyone who has one?! The blue rails are so awesome and all that are on eBay only have the yellow one and aint got the white stripe on the side.... Hehe! Let's see who gets there first I think Ashton had two (or more) bikes in tricks and stunts, but for the headshocks you need a headshox frame with a bigger head tube... Have you watched the 2nd t&s, bi-king? I've been thinking of ordering it on amazon - said to be even better! Hi Rob, Wow I love your bike!!!! I've been hanging onto this pick for the last week or so, glaring at the perfect harmony of specs! Your lady must be loving it!!!!!!!!!! I've got the Cannondale Ashton myself, but I must admit it doesn't look almost as sleek..... :$ What Headset is that? I've desperately been looking to buy that Volvo/Cannondale saddle, but it's impossible to find anywhere! Maybe you could have a word with your lady and ask if she could possibly bare the thought of parting with it to save a guy from hopeless desperation..... I would offer you a very decent price and send you my black CODA so you can replace it. (If it's only for "getting around") Let me know.... Robbie

Hi there, Wow, I was just thinking of selling my Cannondale Ashton Signature edition on eBay cause it's been lying in my garage back in Bonn for the last 6/7 years now. When I got a lousy email offer (I thought it was anyway) of something like €250 I started to think: gosh, this is worth much more to me than that! I could easily win that amount on online poker in one night... And what would I lose?! A beautiful iconic piece of memory of all those hours I had spent on a bike in my youth, well, and a beautiful bike! Searching online for an appropriate price, I stumbled over so many sites which gradually brought up more and more memories of what a great time and how much passion I had for biking & my bike. (Ufff I must sound like an old man in a midlife crisis, although I'm just 24! But I guess it's cause I'm just finishing my last year at uni and am coming closer to the exciting, but daunting prospect of working for some investment bank for the next couple of years). When I though how much I'd want for each part, I had images coming up of how - years ago - I was glued to the video recorder, pausing and playing Ashton and Hayes' "Dirty Tricks and Cunning Stunts" thousands of times just to see exactly what parts they had on their bike, so I could have exactly the same..! Then I saw rathergoodpie's post here on the trials-forum http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=107291 , which made me so jealous! Almost like Christian Bale in American Psycho, I realised, his looked so much better than mine, despite all my perfectionist efforts!!!!! Now, despite my dissertation, I can't stop myself but search every international eBay site, calling Cannondale dealerships and head offices, calling Holland, Italy, Singapore, Australia and even waking a poor lady (called Grace ) in Taiwan in the middle of the night, to find that rechid CODA Competition Mountain Saddle Volvo/Cannondale Team Edition. Oh well, I hope I will eventually find one, but through all this I just cant wait to get back to my good old bike in Bonn to finally feel the passion again As soon as I find out how, I'll post a pic of my bike and you can let me know what you think (or is that option only for authorised members?)
