I'm not trying to top your story or whatever, but i was riding behind a community center, snapped my crank and got a 3 inch long gash (2 inches deep), on the side of my lower leg. Had to get some fat lady to call the hospital, and after about 20 mins finally an ambulance came. there was a 6 hour wait in the waiting room and then another hour in the stiching room before somebody came. I got 11 stiches, but didnt get any time off school ...couldnt ride for almost a month and a half, and when it finally healed, it was like a month before the snow came. It sucked Thats either really stupid, or really deticated

Yo, I live in ontario too (ottawa).The evolve is probablly the best bike in its price range, but you should probablly change some stuff

To protect your chainstays, use an old innertube, cut it to the length of your chainstay, then cut down the middle of inner tube, wrap around chainstays, and zip-tie it on! works really wellfor bouncing chain/what not
