Was watching the getguernsey video and this was the top suggested video lol, watch it is actually a tad funny.

not sure if any of you are aware of the Pijin Blog. Mark updates it with new videos on a regular basis (as well as interviews etc). There are some pretty good gems on there, I particually like Fly's Tres video. It's a good half hour long, but the riding is amazing and so is the film work, music and editing, it really gives me a nostalgic summery feeling of lazy days riding bikes in the sun with friends...go watch it!
was about to post this...... so I will
the manual line at 20:13 is glorious.

Ok well i have no idea who is still riding or if we have new people around.
The plan is to have a new bike in early 2011 !
so whos still around ?

theres a few (about 7) down in poole if you can be bothered to get on the train
-
mine did this and was ok, keep it inside in future though
-
are you actually going to ride it though andy?
-
Magura type backings with a touch of sci-fi, it wont be long before someone decides to make backings with LED's fitted inside so they light up when you brake.
worryingly that sounds kinda cool

Me n dan smith will be there rolling on 20's
cheating little wheels tomato?????

I might be wrong but I don't think most of you are understanding what he's asking, you all seem to be commenting on feel and functionality of the parts, he just wants to know if people think the bmx style of short fork legs and high rise bars looks more visually pleasing than the trials style of lower rise bars (in comparison to bmx bars) and longer fork legs.
correct me if I'm wrong

deffo WAS fixed. Amazingly if you are in the air and stop pedaling, the rear wheel will stop too. He also lifts the rear wheel and cocks back the pedals to get the timing right a few times.
Used to ride with Ted who rides fixed for Charge (or used to) who's basically the UK equivalent of this dude rode the same way, and his pedals reacted in exactly the same way. The little setup skids he has to do to get his pedals level before doing stuff would be literally impossible to do if he didn't have a fixed hub because you can even hear his back tyre 'peep' when it skids. The only way that could happen was if it was fixed. Similarly, it'd be pretty hard to simulate the rest of it too.
cheers guys
its mental what fixed gear has turned into!
-
That's not a fixie he's riding...
Still impressive though!
it is believe me, he is one of the best fixed riders out there, few come close to him, this guy makes me laugh though
-
Mad video, but didn't look like a fixie to me..
It is believe me, tom la marche is the god of fixed gear freestyle, he used to ride bmx hence the uber tucked bunnyhops.
He's the only reason the fixies are even vaguely cool to the masses.
......... yes I do ride a fixie so might have a slightly biased opinion

Its a dk exo, remember it was to do with sprocket grinds and what not.
-
No I meant bronze weld it.
apologies, what is the difference out of curiosity?
-
rough numbers its around 80 for a frame, i think that's the base rate as i got a quote for just a frame and it was roughly 80 p&p and it was roughly 85 p&p for frame fork freewheel and bash ring,
the only thing you may encounter now in import tax which you might get a bill for soon unless it was sent as a gift, but that's a bit dodgy

vimeo is made by deng - it snapped
ha brills

Bronze weld it.
you mean braze?
-
All the parts are metal, apart from the bit you grip with your fingers to turn.
Anyone who breaks a new TPA is officially a 'tard
Ha ok, this means that I'll never break another tpa or it will be set in stone that I'm official a chimp
