  1. yea thanks for the advice, theres quite a bit of money in the fixie trend.

but without being harsh,.. we kinda HATE IT !

plus we are booked up for a LONG time with , full sus mtb, single speed hardtails, dirt jump frames and road/ touring bikes..

we are very happy to make fixie frames, just not that into pushing marketing at frames that match neon sunglasses, or bikes with handlebars 5 inches wide.

function comes before fashion, even if your gonna put holes in frames for fun, haha.

    iolo.

    ha fair enough

these will probably make you chuckle then

  2. haha erm thanks....

dont worry its not all traveling about meeting people, riding lots and making nice bikes..

theres a fair amount of being in debt, eating cheap noodles and riding alone involved ! haha

:) still wouldnt change any of it !

I may not have phrased it quite right, if you want to make more frames and make some more money fixies could be could be worth a look into.

I bet the good bits cancel the bad bits out by a mile though :)

  3. correct me if im wrong but a back brake would be beneficial for pedal kicks, i may just be making an arse of myself not being able to see an lever that is there, if so open to corrections

edit: made an arse, it was there most of the time

  4. HAHAHAHAHAHA j i sooo remember that day was funny as feck.....

andy was running coust cnc rear heatsink red cnc front :)

hot chocolate for the win, and the fairly fit church woman lol

  5. that's probably true to some extent, but it isn't a necessary condition for having a good rear brake.

my overall point is that brake pads are friction materials by design, and so they generate heat when rubbed against another surface. there's a reason our pads are not made out of glass, and why you don't want to get triflow on your rim.

rub your hands together vigorously - they start to get warm, so heat was obviously generated. now rub them together just once - was heat generated?

yes but not in sufficient amounts for our temperature receptors to detect
