I just got a GU blade lever and it really is sooo much nicer than the old 2 finger maggie. Don't replace the tpa you can stick the one you have in the new lever. the monty hose splitters are a piece of junk, they make your brake not work nearly as well... don't use one of those.
Man! Water bleed is the way to go! I can't believe how much better it is... sure the brake pistons may wear out eventually but by then I'm sure I'll probably have something newer (or at least it will give me a good excuse to upgrade ). I was doing it pretty much right except I didn't know that both ends of the brake (lever and slave cylinder) had to be under water... I don't know what I was thinking though. Thanks Guys for the help!
Hi Guys! I tried to water bleed my magura hs33's last night but totally failed and after that they won't work at all... Could someone explain to me how exactly to do it? I know that I'm doing it wrong and I want to get it right. Thanks!
okay, why I wondered is because this bike is on ebay right now and the person selling it doesn't seem to know anything... I don't think I'm interested.
I learned to hop backward first and then I figured out how to push the handlebars forward and jump with my calves and that kept me in the same place instead of always going back and then it wasn't hard to figure out the timing of pedalkicks! just keep practicing... it will get so that its more natural and you don't waste all of your strength in one jump:)
I just got my GU stock fork in the mail last week, but there's a problem! The tube that goes up through the head tube is way way way too long! What am I going to do?
Is this normal, cuz I've never built a bike before...
