Crashes! I hate the thought of a really bad wreak!
Where I live nobody has ever seen a trials bike, and so I don't get all of the slack that you guys do... I tell them, "Oh yeah! My seat fell off somewhere back there!" lol
-
I'm in the US and I ride UK style... how come all of these guys not know about it?
-
Hmmmmm... That's not it. It's not cracked at all... Both the pivot and cylinder mounts (or whatever their called) on the lever are really wallered out. Could that be the cause?
-
Rotor is perfectly straight! Cracked lever is an idea... how would I know if that is it? It does seem probable as the lever is kind of floppy/loose...
-
I have a Magura Marta probably 2005 model, and it does not feel like a real hydraulic disc brake! It has a mushy feel... And I just got done bleeding it but it still feels the same! Could it be that one of my cylinders has gone bad? What would be causing this?
Thanks!

Yep just for styles!
-
Pisspots tend to protect more around the ears and back of the head/neck because the plastic shell extends further down
Just what I was thinking:|
-
Not really... i was just wondering! All I care about is protection! Is a XC lid going to really protect from that really bad hit?
-
I've been wondering about this myself... does anyone very often bash their rear disk?
-
you all are scaring me about getting a gu fork... should I go with ZOO! instead?
-
I wonder if Deng will come out with an '08 model?
-
Why not ZOO! Pitbull?
-
Whats the difference
erm, is there a difference? I just thought there was...
-
Okay, but what is more the "trials look?"
-
What is better? '08 or the '07 gu forks?
-
how did you work that one out?
zoo : 95
gu: 105.
Matx
Because I get Gu for $100 and ZOO! for about $50! I didn't work that out, I just get that price because I get half off of the fork for buying it with a frame:D
Are you saying that those numbers are "higher the better?"
-
What is the difference between the GU fork and ZOO!? I'm talking for stock. The ZOO! is almost half the money of the GU! Is the Gu still worth it?
-
hey what is the "trials style" BMX style helmet or a roady foam? What do you guys say, this one: http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/,88468_...ort-Helmet.html
or this one: http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/,66867_...ila-Helmet.html

The non-spd 661s have a really tacky sole, it's made from the same 'stealth' rubber as they use in climbing shoes. Not sure how good they'd be for trials, but for DH with flat pedals, they're supposed to be the shit.
Are you talkin' these? http://sixsixone.com/Catalog_661Bike.aspx?...05-30c5fdcf0d13
Or these? http://sixsixone.com/Catalog_661Bike.aspx?...fd-f18b7fc501fa
If you had to choose, would you get high like the second ones or low like the first?
-
Ahh right, perfect then!
I just saw it in trials chat and presumed they wer for trials!
Hope you like the shoes if you do buy them, they are a great set of shoes!
Owen
I think you misunderstood me, Yes I was wondering how they would be for trials... and you answered my question!

Good shoes! But not for trials!
Theyre SPD shoes, which means they are meant for cleated pedals (where you attatch your foot to the pedal) therefore will have a really stiff sole, meaning theyre a no-no for trials!
Get some DC or fox shoes or simlar ones. If not Ribo's are surposed to be good.
Hope i helped
Exactly! Just what I wanted! Thanks so much Mate!
