  1. I never said you were I'd just trust a big company more than someone doing it for a bit of extra cash...... Didn't say it wouldn't work, it might work very well..
  2. I doubt you could sell them very well... Why would someone pay for a booster that might not work, might be weak and might look shit when they can get a decent booster for like 15 quid?
  3. So you want to make your own boosters and sell them?
  4. They make your brake feel stiffer and for me they always add a lot of noise and bite. They're not supposed to add power though.....
  5. Plazzies in cnc backings are better just put mine on today, louder and bitier than my phat pads in cnc backings. They seem better than anyone elses heatsink reds too.
  6. Thats just down to you not being used to the bike..
  7. Theres A LOT of places to ride. Victoria square white walls red walls by the canal I can't be arsed to think of other places... You should come on a ride in Brum some time Just check the full members (rides/locations section) and see if theres any you can make. Usually just meet out side the station at 11 ish.
  8. Come out on a Brum ride (or come to Worcester this weekend ) and you'll be able to make your own decision rather than going on what others say.
  9. Nah not stupid at all if you're new to the sport. Mods have little wheels. 20" rim on the front and 19" on the back. Stocks have big wheels. 26" front and back.
  10. They ride like a sack of shit. 70.5 head angle is not good. Don't listen to what anyone else says, get a Base off Tarty. Their a hundred quid and you won't have to adapt to it as much.
  11. Some tall riders ride mod, some small riders ride stock. Just preference. When people say they too big for stock their talking utter shite. Most mods I've ridden feel longer than my stock, this is because they have stems which are about 60mm longer than mine... I prefer stock. Mod is cheating in my eyes.
  12. Yes, the Hope seat clamp turns it into a high spec trials bike.
  13. You can, but I don't see the point. They leak and aren't as comfy as a normal maggie lever.
  14. Rimjam reds in those cnc backings are meant to be silly loud, but they break your cylinders easily. Plazmatic CRM's are meant to be loud when their in heatsink cnc backings too...
  15. Phat pads in cnc backings on a harsh grind. Work in any conditions (even when the rim is caked in mud). 10 quid for the material or 30 quid with the heatsink backings He's also got some yellow material suitable for smooth/light grinds. Their 5 quid for the material and you get about 10mm or so I'm using these on the front at the moment and they are suprisingly good! The pads are wonky to f**k but they still hold and bite like a beast. Contact fatmike (Michael Singleton) to get some The heatsink range of pads are pretty decent too. Cousts work like a beast in dry and wet and work well on a dead grind (so you don't have to keep grinding as soon as your grinds a bit dead) The koxx range of pads are all amazing too, browns on harsh grind or any of the others on a light grind. All will work brilliant Plazmatic CRM's are also pretty beasty pads! Only work well in the dry. On a light sharp grind they are really bitey and pretty loud hold pretty well too. check out the pads sections on either tarty trials-uk or heatsink
