When i gap i try to stay on the back wheel steady with no correction hops to compose my self and focus on the gap, And then after I'm totally ready, I preload depending on the size of the gap the gap, and kick depending on the size of the gap. But the more you practice, you'l find you will develop your own style of gapping, it all come with time and practice. Hope I've helped. Dan.

Right, im after a new tensioner seeing as mine keeps coming loose and skipping for some reason.
