  1. the height of the bar was 51, the record for stock is 52, if they had stuck at it, im sure they would of smashed that

Ben Savage cleared 54" on his stock at a comp the day before the BIU worlds in Czech so I can't see the record is 52"

  2. haha, I knew he was good, but I wasn't expecting him to be quite that good! Congrats on the world champs title! Well deserved.

One question though, it doesn't look like his rear rim is ground, any reason for this? I only ask because I doubt he'll have the strongest grip on the levers yet and having the extra power of a ground rim would seem like a good idea especially for wet comps, but he seems to be managing more than well enough as it is :)

He does have a grind on the rear but most of the video is on his practice bike that gets well used and abused and needs a regrind quite regularly.

His best bike has softer pads and a good grind for comps.

  3. Adam won poussin on 11

Charlie rolls was 6th in Benjamin with sam rolls in 14th

Owen gawthorpe was 9th in minime.

Well done to all. It was not a typical Spanish event with slippery streams and greasy mud banks.

Senior and elite looks ridiculously hard fir tomorrow. Ben savage, Scott Wilson and James Sheridan are in action.

  4. Yeah was a great event Scott.

Had a good run home - 16 hours from the venue to home.

Says on Tribalzine there was 5000 spectators during the day.

Certainly felt like there was a lot of people when the commentator shoved the microphone in my face as I was calling out your time on the big pipe section.

Roll on the next Euro trial in Italy.

  5. Just had a great weekend in France.

The weather on the day of the trial was superb and the club had set out 8 sections for Poussin, Femina & Minime and 10 sections for all the other classes.

Each section had at least two observers and a total of 130 volunteers helping out and a reported 5000 spectators turned up.

The sections were all man made but using natural rocks or concrete pipes.

I'll try and sort some photos when I can.

Adam started off great with a clean 1st lap followed by 3 dabs on the water section 2nd time round to take the win in front of Spaniard Alan Rovira on 7 marks.

The only other british finisher was Scott Wilson who finished 6th in the Elite class.

    Top weekend.

  6. Just had a great weekend in Sweden at the EBU European Biketrial Championship.

It was held at Bjorvick and was run by an excellent team of organisers, everything just ran so smoothly.

Saturday was for the three youth classes and the femina class. They competed over 2 laps of 8 sections in temperatures hitting 30 degrees.

I'm very proud to say that Adam won the Poussin class (7 to 9 year olds). He went round on clean with 2nd and 3rd places on 10 and 17 marks respectiveley.

On Sunday the UK was represented by Scott Wilson and James Sheridan.

Scott had a tough day on the elite class but kept plugging away to get 9th place.

James had a poor 1st lap and sat in 6th place on 22 marks. His 2nd lap was a lot better loosing only 8 marks to finish in 4th place just 4 marks off the podium.

    Big thanks to the organisers.

  7. That's the 1st day done and it's been hot. 30+ degrees and lots of mosquitos

The only uk rider in action today was 9 year of Adam Morewood who won the pouissin route on clean to become European champion.

Tomorrow it's junior, senior and elite classes with Scott Wilson and James Sheridan representing the uk.
