The new Monty ones are outperforming the echo ones on Adams bike. Very light and the aluminium is a lot tougher. The echo cages seemed soft and quickly wore out.

Anyone about this Saturday (16th) in north derbyshire / south Yorkshire area for some practice?

Sounds awesome but with it being bank holiday weekend we will be in the isle of man.
Shame its not the week before, will mange to get to one of these weekends someday.

We'll be there. Few new keen youngsters our way for beginner route as well and I bet Donna would be up for it.

Wish we could be there, It was a great European Cup in Sonico last year.
But we will be at UCI youth games on the same weekend.

As it says here is a few clips of Adam practicing during our holiday at Easter in Germany followed by practice at K124 days at La Tour de Scay in France.
Also includes some comp action from super elites including Kenny Belaey and Abel Musteiles.

We went last year and it was great, the sunny weather helped.
We are going again, having a weeks holiday 1st and then driving onto the event before comoing home.
I know the Roll's are also going.
Hope the weather is as good as last year.

I bled Adams fine.
Just made sure I rotated the lever so the bleed point was right at the highest point.
Doing this got a lot of extra bubbles out.

Get a 28 spoke hub and use a monty kamel rim with radial lacing. Adams front wheel is only about 570g

It was a good day.
Sections about spot on and really good to see so many new faces and some new young blood, just what the sport needs.
Shame about the weather but the off season investement in a new coat did the trick.

I am taking Adam.
We are flying to Barcelona and then hiring a car.
Getting there for mid morning saturday and then flying home mid morning Monday so not much time for going anywhere else.

Few clips of Adam burning off his xmas dinner on Boxing Day at Endcliffe Park, Sheffield and then practicing at Shipley Glen with Jack Carthy & Jed Hesling.

Yes and by tartybikes so we had a choice of Echo or Monty ones
Too early to tell yet but the Monty ones are definateley grippier, remains to be seen re strength and wear.

Well we've been to padley gorge on our own today. Very, very wet and slippy but a good practice session.

Adam has used echo TR's for the last year and found them great but he has just got some of those new Monty cage pedals to try. So far they are great, extremely grippy.
