Mine were ok (on a really light grind). Didn't work in the wet though, but in the dry were awesome.... for 2 weeks. Then they wore down in 3 days. Theres better pads around. Such as the Heatsink range, Koxx range and plazmatic crm's. My personal favourite are the Koxx browns they last years, always loud and bitey with immense hold and work well in dry and wet. I'd suggest using them if you want a good brake in most conditions. If you don't ride in wet and want smooth rim, the Neco red pads are meant to be amazing on smooth
