People always seem to think that their crap because they leak.... They only leak (in my experience) when they have been bled with water. So they leak when you use the wrong fluid in the brake, that doesn't make them shit at all. It's like saying a Shimano disc brake (that uses mineral oil) is crap because if you bleed it with dot fluid it kills the seals and leaks. Echo brakes aren't designed to have water in the system, so why use water?

Mine were ok (on a really light grind). Didn't work in the wet though, but in the dry were awesome.... for 2 weeks. Then they wore down in 3 days. Theres better pads around. Such as the Heatsink range, Koxx range and plazmatic crm's. My personal favourite are the Koxx browns they last years, always loud and bitey with immense hold and work well in dry and wet. I'd suggest using them if you want a good brake in most conditions. If you don't ride in wet and want smooth rim, the Neco red pads are meant to be amazing on smooth
