    Day Insure

You will not find day insurance at 17. I was looking into it at 20 and 10 months, and nowhere would touch me, have to be 21. just get a normal tenner day insure jobby and get your dad etc to drive it. Rich
  3. Go for the MK3 polo! Get an ABD 1.4l GT, with a cam and some choice mods you have 100bhp in an 780 kilo car, mucho more fun than a scirocco! Or do what I've done and get a G40:) Oh, and the handling isn't all that bad, when there on a decent set of shocks and springs, with G'laderseite arb blocks to help retain the castor angle once lowered. http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=121255 - My daily atm! Tf Car Meet

I'll be there, sounds good to me, will even be insured on my bestest car lol
  6. Only met him a couple of times, but he made the impression of being a good laugh, and a sound chap, another tragic waste. RIP.
  7. Just put a deposit on this. 1341cc + G Lader
  8. Engine: Petrol, This was on 95RON, Mr rolling road man told me I should run it on V Power though.. Size: 1272cc, Chip (with 8k limiter..) Pipercross, 4 Branch manifold, performance exhaust, P&P Throttle body, skimmed head (higher compression ratio..) Model: 1991 Polo GT Driving Conditions: Good run to watford (120miles ish) to work and back, half country, half A and Dual carriageway, so averaging a 'good' 60mph mostly! Combined MPG: 42ish, Full tank, 189miles, required 20 liters to full up. Rated MPG (manufacture) : No-idea, 30-45ish Comments: Pretty pleased, thats with occasional limiter bashing, a close ratio box, with little concession to fuel economy when it comes to driving style, could increase it to 45mpg I reckon.

    Beau

Not jumping on the 'I knew him' bandwagon, buut.. I saw him ride twice, saw him do the mental drop gap in bristol and he was a name and a person to remember in my head as being something special. Tragic loss, condolences to family, friends and everybody who knew him better than I did. RIP. Rich

  15. I have the 'proper' (i.e dangerous) Pro-tec bucky lasek sig white helmet, got it from US ebay couple of years back for 23quid delivered new i think. They fit well and look nicer lol.
  16. Impressive work taking it upon yourself to organize this, 7th gets my vote. Rich
  17. Forgot this was on here..! Cheers, pleased with it, only ridden it twice or so though, due to some shitness! Rear rim is an Atomlab, um, cant remember which one, might change it, too heavy. Seat is a nitrox, will remove gash padding when I can be bothered. I quite like the gearing, though it is a bit spinny! Rich
  18. Yesss nick. Good to see your back on form, that was the tits. Rich
