Headset, good. Stem, good. Forks, not so good. This is a commuter with MTB wheels so was looking for something like an alloy rigid fork, or maybe some short travel sus. Sam you are very helpful!

Ok, i thought it all seemed a little to easy, are 1" forks, headsets and stems reasonably easy to find?

Cheap halfords stem, anoyingly heavy forks that are bent, The frame i'm using isn't strictly a roadie and as a commuter i want to build it up to be a little lighter and maybe a bit more versatile. Anyway, I now know it can be done but what will i need?

Right little bit of a question session here guys. Is it possiable to convert my threaded headset to non-threaded? I believe its 1" would it be possiable to just remove it and replace with a 1" threadless and new forks? That seems a little bit to easy. If so i can't find many budget 1" threadless headsets, help? And again with 1" steerer forks?

You guys are all f**ked up, ha ha. We did something with a computer, a friend had been writing a book and had had the computer copy read over and agreed to be published, so we put everything on an external hardrive, then wiped the computer. It was funny until she found a large heavy metal pole.
