um how did you work that out. both the megamo and brisa's came with with disks front and rear as complete bikes, and were designed for them. the Brisa b20/26D has a normal disk tab and the dedicated magura disk tab. so i do believe they were designed for disks. i think the main reason is that disks can ahve amazing stopping power and modulation. but they do not bite and hold too well, there are exepctions but i think that is the main reason.

the brisa bar and stem is pretty heavy dude i think. there are certainly lighter and better feeling set ups which i reckon you would love. the pazza carbon bars feel the sexy and are pretty damn light i think. not that i know but i think anyway. i think Hot S's are pretty much the lightest tyres for trials which are fat. but i seem to remember in MBUK a while back continental diesel 2.5inch tyres, fat and were about 650 Grams i think. what frame are u getting anyways dude?

some mates find it very helpful putting tar on rails, to be honest i never did when i started rails and never feel the need to do it, i think it maybe more of a confidence thing, like because it is less likely to slip when u start off doing them, it is easier kind of. i dont find it much of a help as i never used it but for confidence i think it would boost it.

thats probably because he got the 2004 version, and it sounds like your mate got the 05 one, like i have. It has a chrome rear rim, different sproket at 36 13 gearing with the odyssey freewheel as you said. thats a sweet bike dude, i wish mine came with that sproket looks lush. i think the bars like fine imo probabaly as thats where i have mine, they ride sweet dont they just ride so sweet :o hope your just as happy with it as i am with mine :ermm:

mans thats awesome, hope you enjoy her. They really are nice bikes and that sounds like you got a killer deal on it, the dark grey is a sexual colour too, make the most of it it is a great bike, get some pics up when you get it.

i only posted this comment because my friend said i should, and am really peeved off at how the matter has been handled. ok fair enough i have to send the frame, but why wasn't i told this the first time round and sent a picture when i was told that this would be fine. And that you had, had a reply from china, yet had not told me. also the contract surely is with bikedock as its them i bought the frame off, not x street or china. i mean it has taken 5 weeks to get back to the same place i was at the beginning. im not out to make people not buy from you or anything because in previous matters i have found you a very good shop and have been happy with your service. whenever i E-mail i usually seem to get pretty vague answers. well i dont know, what should i do know, and how long will it take as before i just got may take a while, im usually easy going but this really has got on my pecks. i have been polite so far but its taken 5 weeks with no joy and im going to have my easter hols with no frame. sorry about the rant but it's what i feel right now.
