Ha f**k i would have if you woulda been there to coach me ha
-
ha cool man cool! Feel free to add any feed back or any advice .

Yeah definitely use water to bleed them, use the wiki, I did worked magic. Spend some time with them, and don't be a lazy ass or you'll end up on your ass. Basically learn the 'art or grinding' with an angle grinder and a bath bleed with water, then your set for life.

go for the urban with vee mounts, thats what I run and its sick! Plus I run a vee as well and its good, like it better now than when i was running a disc on it.
-
I like my maggie in the back and my monty vee in the front ha! Rock pad blue's in the back and some rubber avid pads atm in the front! Can't complain, going to be getting some Rock greens for the front soon though, think it will be intense.

ha oh f**k, wtf, little a lot different!

If you have a nice steady hand or you know someone with one, you could cut it off with an angle grinder with a zip-cut wheel. My dad did it for one of my friends, but that was on a cranks, but no big deal. Or try some other power precision tool for removal.

I tuck and live in Canada, does that make me a bad person?

Sick video there Joe, showed that f**k who's boss . Sick riding and great spots. Ever come to Toronto I'll come riding with you, just let me know.

Make:GU Model:ST Year:2008 Quick spec used with the Frame:punching bars, gu cranks, echo rims, pro ii rear hub, maxxis minions front and rear, custom kingz tensioner WB:1085 Chain stays:380 BB rise:40 Head Angle:72 Strength rating out of 10:4/10, lasted since march, seemed a bit short, but I am like 165 and 15 years old Still under warranty though! Weight rating out of 10:9.9/10 decent perfect for me Overall comments (Like if the frame was specifically good for Taps or sidehops or whatever): Loved frame, best frame i have had, cracked all frames I've rode basically the season i received it, so not to surprised, just thought it was a bit more beefy than that... Progressed a lot on the frame with basically every move. Hopefully my next frame is TP!

I think almost all the bolts they use are titanium now, other than the V booster on the urban series. I think the TR stem as well, which looks like the forged echo stems.

Not sure of weight, and i do not have a scale to measure. When i get a hold of one i will, and will post pics of it on bike tomorrow.

Well skippage as in once in awhile (like twice a 5 hour ride), and it just makes a popping noise? i dunno, but its harmless. The thickness of the spring is 32 thousandths of an inch. The other plate with the hole is 1/8th of an inch, and same with the roller's plates. Both of the roller plates are stainless and so is the plate with the hole.
-
Well it has plates on the side so it keeps it in line.
-
thanks, will try to film it better

Not sure the weight, sorry, but its like average to a tensioner, like as much as my surly. It is definitely less than a mech. Will have pics of it on my bike in a few, just need to find the time. Going riding in Toronto so I will probably have them up monday. I review it 10 out of 10... just put the actual make on today and its mint as well. Hit it a couple of times today... sturdy as f**k. I was running the proto for a few weeks and it held up like a champ. Tensions it massively, also my friends are running them as well, since my dad made them, and they both love them as well. Makes bike feel very solid and more confidence for side hops. Basically bomb proof. Little to none skippage, and takes a beating. Thanks for comments. Joey

I used to run those front and back on my old norco team ha! A little Ryan Leech set up I had. Was a f**king beast though...
-
I run single ply 2.35 maxxis minion front, good tread left. I run a 2 ply 2.5 maxxis minion super tacky, been riding since march with it, and the tread is starting to bald... still grips good though.
-
The roller is made from teflon. Very very smooth glide!
-
haha ^^^ Yup pretty much right there.
-
This is my finished version of my tensioner. Cleaner looking, stronger and more tension since the proto, can't wait to try it out tomorrow ? I think so at least. Will post pics on bike, when taken. Comments are welcome Joey

I go to the right and I'm right foot forward, no big deal just need more room, as said by others. I practice on picnic tables, gives me practice of side hoping from farther.
