I ordered a Zoo! Pitbull 07 frame, short (1060mm) some weeks ago. (My wish is a shorter frame than my GU LE 26" which is 1080mm) I built the Zoo! up today, and after measuring from rear hub to front hub, the distance is 1080mm. The strange thing is that the Zoo! Pitbull 07 only exists in two versions, 1060mm and 1090mm... Or is there a third version out there? Have I received the correct frame?

Thank you very much! I forgot to mention I also already have chainbreaker, Allen wrenches, and a hammer! Ok, maybe it´s better pushing them in as far as it goes from the beginning...?
-
Soon I´ll receive a new frame! What tools will I need to mount it? Do I need any special tools for assembling the headset? Do I need some type of lubricate oil for the BB and the Headset? Tools I already have: BB tool, Crank tool, Wrenches

Yep thats correct, I can´t bunnyhop it very well, but of course other people can... I can bunnyhop quite high with my MTB standard bike! I guess it´s because I get more power because the handlebars are closer my body? Or maybe its the BB? This is why im after a shorter frame... Short version of these frames maybe helps me? Adamant A1, Echo Control, and Zoo Pitbull. Spec for the Pitbull: Specifications: WheelBase: 1060mm(short), 1090mm(Long) WheelBase Chainstay: 385mm(short), 380mm(long) Bottom Bracket Rise 10mm(short), 20mm(Long) Distance from BB shell to Headtube 660mm(short), 670mm(Long)

Ok I see... thx anyway!

Ok so I´ve been playing around in photoshop, and now I think I get it about the short seat tube. Will a "normal" sized saddle fit, at low height like this? Notice that I´ve added a short tube on the existing one. Maybe the saddle must have the same height as the Echo Pure has, letting the rearwheel able to spin? Suppose the saddle on the Because bike will fit, at that low height, will you be able to sit on it, or is it too low?

I think the 26" Street frame looks very nice. What do you think is bad with it? If it´s similar to the Echo Pure 04, isn´t that just a good thing? Im having a GU LE now, and I think its a bit too long for me, I can´t do proper bunnyhops. Maybe it´s because of the length of it? WB is 1080mm. So what im looking for is a shorter frame and I think the Because street frame looks cool. (WB: 1065MM) (I have no problems with a saddle)

Incredible... no disturbing music =

Im not sure about what part to replace, but I had problems using water when bleeding my Echo brake...Checkout: Oil or water
-
Thank you guys. I have re-bleeded the Echo-brake with magura oil, and now it works welll!! So for all riders using Echo brakes, my advice is to use oil!
-
Hello! I know many prefer bleeding with water instead of oil. I´ve tried bleeding my Echo brakes with water, but Im not satisfied. (The bathtub method) My second attempt to bleed the rearbrake seemed to be very good, but some days later, the brake didn´t respond very well... =( I took a check at Tartys, and found this text regarding Echo CNC Rim Brakes: "Please note that using water to bleed the brake will invalidate the warranty." -Will the Echos get broken? Corrode? Maybe water works best with Maguras? Any help is much appreciated!

Stylish!

I like! I always find it fun to see people with an alternative style doing their thing, whatever it is. Does it really matter what type of bike he rides? If you don´t like it, why bother spending time criticize? I guess that does only indicating weakness. Im not disturbed in what bike you ride, or the music you have choosen. I like watching people having fun. And why does everything has to be perfect nowadays? Inferiority complex?

Revolver: 2 chainrings? Does that work with a bashguard? I guess I need a mech for that, but my GU LE 26" has not mounting option for that I think. Tomm, that looks interesting, but as Psycholist mentioned, it may not last long for trials? Hmm I think i´ll wait going gears, I do not really want to change my rearwheel with a new hub, doh!
-
Im in need of gears on my bike. Is it possible to have a rear mech switching between only 2 wheels? One for high speeds, and the existing wheel I have now. I have a Echo Hub 15 T with a built -in tensioner. Do I have to buy a new rearhub for cassettes, or possible using the existing Echo hub? I have seen the Onza rear mech at Tartys, maybe thats something for me? Or maybe, there´s much simple solutions with such few gears...? I have this one:

YES! =) that makes sense! I did get it off weehoo =) The bolt through the crank and the freewheel helped a lot! No hand needed pushing down the crank or the tool while trying to twist. I found a 2,5 m long pipe to twist it off, what a feeling! Now the bashguard is mounted, seem to fit well!! (I went to my local bicycleshop, only selling racers though, so he didn´t had the best tools for the job =) Thanks again!

Thank you Adam! However...I didn´t succeed very well, it´s a really tough job getting it off... tried vice, +some heat, tools+long pipe, didn´t help... I will hand it over to my local bikes serviceman as I think I just will break the wheel... =) Thanks

Thanks mates i´ll try doing this your way! Im just afraid loosing the crank because of the short distance on the threaded part on it. Maybe some grounding of the bashguard is the best way of saving space! Also, wich way should I screw to loose the freewheel? : Thanks!!

I have problems mounting a GU bashguard on my bike. I have this Bottom bracket: Truvativ Gigapipe DH Taken from tartybikes: "- Clears all models of freewheels, but may not fit with some setups using a bashring" Cranks are off! TryAll freewheel. But what now? Where is the bashguard supposed to be mounted? The freewheel seem to be too wide for the bashguard to fit? Or should I use the tool with the freewheel? Im not sure the crank will be mounted since small space? All help is much appreciated! /Rusty
