you can't give a reading with a speedo thats out like every other speedo in the world and an itchy stopwatch finger as proof....lol i have a gps system in my type r which gives me exact readings of speed and my speedo is out so i can guarantee your gti will be out. sorry mate, i don't wanna seem like i'm picking on you but i just take offence to people who chat to make themselves look good! the keyboard warrior! lol

actually you can work out an approximate bhp at the wheels by deducting 10% plus 10bhp from the fly bhp. which always works out 1-2 bhp within an actual reading, this is a proven method and doesn't differ with cars. btw how much torque did you reach in the dyno?

if you reach 165bhp at the flywheel then you would have approximately 138bhp at the wheels give or take 1-2bhp due to transmission losses. so i think you should get it rolling roaded again mate or stop chattin shit. and please enlighten us on how you had your 0-60 and top speed figures recorded as i'm bloody astonished!

do you have a copy of a dyno sheet to prove those bhp figures, also how did you record those 0-60 and top speed figures?

btw! bucky or anyone who knows him. don't get those arospeed wheels! i have them, they are not made for the british market so they are not prepared with our weather/salt in mind! they corrode on the dished rim really badly and arospeed are a b*****d to get a warranty replacement off... the corrosion is really bad all round the dish on all four wheels and i know of at least 5 other people with the same problem! while i'm here this was my first kev car renault 5 turbo dimma, that used to cost me £2500 a year to insure. was fast and handled well but not a patch on the civic!

yeah, right from my first post i was giving a personal point of view, talking about how i feel about the suffering, yes everyone should be given condoms but as quoted below mine was a moral point of view about having common sense which as you say is likely to be highly unpopular. BUT is still morally the right thing to do to stop the kids suffering! everyone attacked me and called me ignorant so i had to fight my corner, thats life!

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, i feel the parents of these children should think about the suffering they will cause to a child by bringing it into a world of starvation and almost certain death. this is my point, they should take responsibility, they should not be controlled or forced but think for themselves and make the right decision not to put a child through all that suffering if they cannot clothe or feed it thats it! simple as that , theres nothing ignorant or narrow minded there! just a very fair opinion that the african people should stop the suffering of babies by making their own decision on whether or not they can provide an enviroment in which that child will survive!you all made the mistake of skipping through the posts in this thread, totally missing the point and attacked me for the above, for trying to protect children! this is a moral opinion, and as some have pointed out will probably never happen but it would be better for those who are suffering if it did hopefully everyone understands now, if not please be sure to tell me exactly what you don't understand about the above comments! phil
