Definately get HS33's.
They are cheaper than disks, they don't brake as easy, they are soooo simple to set-up, you don't have to worry about bending them when sidehopping.
And they give a nice loud noise so you know they are always holding.
-
The thing with 'TGS' or whatever is that no matter how much people whine about doing lines there really isn't always that many places to do decent lines everywhere, round here the majority of the riding spots are literally just a wall at the side of the road and nothing more. Yeah lines do look good but single moves do as well.
If you have a video full of lines and nowt else everyone loves it, if you have a video with a mixture of TGS and lines in it everyone just focuses on the TGS and says its shit and needs to be more varied and all that garb. No one can ever win.

NO!!!, the Onza Rip is the equivilant to the T-vee. So it has 20 inch rims on it. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=10 it's stated in there. Research before you post man!!.WHY ARE YOU BEING A BELL, I WASN'T TALKING TO YOU AND DONT INTEND TO!!!! SO GTFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Yeah, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to...
But maybe I'm wrong.

Great vid Ross!
That vee is looking pretty good!
Some huge riding.
For some variation you should get some natty clips.

Pads: Heatsink Snowy's (Whites)
Time used: 2 weeks
Rim used: Onza Rim
Grind: Smooth
previous pads: Magura Blacks
Brake used: HS33 new style
What is your opinion of a working brake: Good bite and hold, nice, loud noise.
Review: Awesome pads, the bite is great and the hold is good. Not the best on wet but that's because i'm running a smooth rim!
-
Yeah, they were shut yesterday and today I think.
-
i am currently running some onza limes on my back brake with a medium grind and they are performing SH*T ,
Wierd, i'm running Onza Limes on my front brake on smooth (I know they are meant for grinds) And they are awesome!
As for the back brake, I have Heatsink Snowy's on smooth. They are so good and I recommend them. I think they can be used on grinds aswell.
They are £15 in powerpad backings.

It's a guard, it's there for emergencies and not designed for regular harsh use and you should never rely on it.
So like I said if your slipping onto stuff that often your going too big, work on being smoother.
Oright. Cool.
That's alot clearer now.
-
i have no idea?? your the one telling us you'll destroy your frame without it, were only trying to help
Only because i'll be slipping onto it if I don't make something...
you'll destroy your frame even if you have got a bash on thereWhat were you meaning by that then?
were only trying to helpI know, i'm not trying to start an argument or anything.
I appreciate the help.
-
you'll destroy your frame even if you have got a bash on there by the sounds of it, and at the moment you hav'nt
either fix it like we've all recommended you do, none of the fixes are hard, OR ride smoother and don't go for stuff you clearly cant do
I will try what yous have said but I mean, quite often if i'm trying to back wheel something and I don't quite make it i'll slip down and hit the bashguard.
Hows that going to wreck the frame at-all?
If I didn't have it, I would be hitting the frame every time.
pics??I'll try get some soon.
-
how much of the bolt is pocking out of the frame? if you got 3-5mm tall head showing you might be able to saw down the middle of the bolt(trying not to saw the frame) and use a flat head screwdriver?
other wise drill the bolt out and retap.
Theres a wee bit sticking out, but it's on the under-side bit under the frame.
So it would be a bitch to get to.
-
personally id just stop using itSam's right really.
I honestly would destroy my frame in about a week though.
-
Hey guys,
Today I noticed my bashplate was squint and then when I looked at it I saw that a bolt was missing. But i've now realised that the bolt actually snapped and the other bit of the bolt is now stuck in my frame!
Does anyone know a way to get it out?
Does anyone know a bodge I could do to keep that big of the bashguard tight because the rubber keeps falling out now.
I don't want to take it off because I will just destroy my frame.
Thanks
Hunter

Nice one!
-
Yeah, it's quite a stupid rule.
I'm gonna have to start on theory now, if I pass this exam. I aint done any yet! Haha
So, what all instruments do you play?
-
Yeah it is acoustic, but you can relate one to the other.
Good luck with the exam man!
Thanks duude.
So did you do you Grade 8 ABRSM!?!?
That's pretty intense!
-
Yeah, that's what I thought. I'm gonna be doing a Grade 7 Rockschool this year.
Don't the Associated Board only do acoustic guitar though?
I do ABRSM for piano. It's much mor formal than Rockschool.
I have my grade 5 Piano on Tuesday. (Shitting myself)
Haha
-
Have any of yous done any exams or anything? With Rockschool and stuff?

'Ben John-Hynes' your a legend. Your way worked. Theres still air, but not that much and to be honest I don't care about a wee bit of air and I can't be assed doing it again! When I turn the TPA in it's good. I think if I did it one more time I could get it airless, but hey. Thanks!
It's on my bike now and feels amazing!
