  1. Thanks guys,

Im going to try to drink more and eat the bananas. Im always getting moaned at by the missus for not drinking enough (the hydrating kind!). Im not the fittest guy in the world, but i shouldnt have arteriosclerosis. Im only 16 :( . I try and eat healthy, and have a balanced diet. Anyway, thanks for all the advice.

    Cheers

  2. Hi,

As title says really. I am a beginer and ive just been generally practicing in my garden. Thing is, after a while (bunnyhoping up stairsets), i get mega cramp in my right foot (fowards foot). Its really annoying as it starts to hurt so much i have to stop.

Does anyone know how to combat this?

    Cheers Max

  3. Looks like an Echo freehub on an Echo 2007+ rim to me.

Sounds about right to me, the guy who had it before me had a new rear wheel built up a few monts before i got it.

I need to take some time out and true it, as there is a slight buckle in it, that makes setting up the rear brake a pain in the ass!

I have a wishlist at the moment.

    1. New bashplate

    2. New stem

    3. differnt front brake.

Seeing as i am validated, i think its time to cruise the for sale sections!

    Cheers

  4. Thanks Muel!

Its an Echo hub and i think Echo rim. There is no markings on the rim so i am just presuming....

Again, i really dont know what the freewheel is. I might whip the wheel out and post a few pictures of it, as i cant see any markings on it.

Im hopefully going to upgrade to a newer, Monty stem with a sloping top cap. Ive already smashed my knees on them a few times  .

    Cheers Max

  5. Muel is right. Maintainace is the best cure. Most people say i over maintain our mototrials bikes, but im not the one replacing parts every 2 weeks. Brake seals are a little differnt however. If the brake has done a fair bit of work, it may pay to replace the slave seals. This will stop any lazy pistons that might be occouring.

  6. Those ones from halfords look mint for the price. I took the risers of my MTB last night to see what they where like on the monty, but the clamp diameter was too small. I presume i have a 31.8mm stem on my Monty? If so those bars from halfords are mine :P

  7. Is it safe to order from Trials-uk? I have heard all the horror stories about the orders not appering etc, but i need a braided cross over for my maggie, and the only one tarty has on their site (apart from the ful kits!) are the hope ones and there more expensive.

  8. Hi,

Im looking for a new square taper bottom bracket for my monty. I need one thats going to last preferably. Trials Uk ahve some nice neon sq taper BBs but i dont really want to order from them. Tarty have the Echo/VP BB and that looks good value for money. Is it decent, or are there better out there?
