  1. Hey Faith! be careful of the Hope Pro 2's. Friends of mine here in S'pore have been having problems with the pawls wearing out very fast. read the other posts here abt it. they explain it in detail. also, if you feel a chris king is expensive for a hub, consider front freewheel. a good FFW will give you more response than any hub can for roughly the same price as a CK. hope your bike will rock your socks! cheers!
  2. V's are light and easy to maintain but for me, the reason i switched to Mags is cause if you spend a lot of time on the back wheel and love to hold the levers real hard, like i do, the modulation of the Mags make so much more sense for me. I used to need to change my brake cable a gazillion times before i finally decided to give in and get my Mags rebled. If you can, try both set-ups to see what you may want to settle with because the v's are definitely a good weight and maintanance advantage. And please get the Inspired Fourplay! i'm not advertising or such but, for me, it really rocks! couple with great looks and such, it's the best bike i've tried. The geo's real streetish though but i plan to take on comps with this next year! Post pictures of your bike when you get it all done up! Cheers
  3. Hey guys! here's my baby...'09 Inspired Fourplay. arrived and built up yesterday!!!! i haven't even really rode it yet. just did a couple pedal kicks and hops and that's about it because it was finished at like 1am this morning! hahaha! Many thanks to Dave from Inspired for sending it here(Singapore) and Walton and Han from Attitude Bikes. Apparently, Walton and Han say it's a real different ride than the previous Fouplay. They said it feels more like a 26" with a more "forward" trials posture. Other than the small wheels, i couldn't tell the difference in feel when compared with my Crescent Illions. It's slightly heavier than the Crescent but it's so well balanced, i find it easier to tuck in the back wheel when gapping and the Trialtech bar really feels good on the bike! I even got the bike rocking "Rowan-Johns-style" 3 speed in the rear! Seriously could be THE best bike i have ever ridden...no kidding!
