I think you could probably get a set of second hand magura's for around £60-£80. If your bike has magura mounts that is.

ive almost always used petrol to clean my rim and ive never had any problems

with how much its going to cost building a bike up from the frame, you might aswell buy a whole bike.

id stay away if there anything to do with neon, from my experiences and from what ive heard from other people there stuff is made from crap material!, id say just chuck in an extra 20 quid and get the new zoo lynx frame

are the threads totally stripped? you might be able to helicoil them.

Post up the spec or a pic if you can . Youl definately need to lengthen the chain though.
