you?? I never noticed the difference it the weight.Do many people use v brakes anymore,have not seen many around.

maguras are lighter than a disc brake????

i got it done in the shop here they were giving away stainless steel coke coasters so i got them drilled them and the fit perfectly it is like this but smooth and it looks cool i think anyway.i took pictures as i was doing it once i find my usb lead i will post the pics . i know it wont last very long but it is fun to make and interesteing to see how it holds up

hi i am building a new bike and i was wondering what people have as a front brake whats the advantage of discs over maguras or v brakes i perfer v brakes as you can control the feel of the alot easier than discs or maguras easier but thats just me i have a set of vees already for it.they are single 7s. i see alot of bikes have discs now but i dont see many front maguras or vees anymore just wondering what the people on here use and why?

hi lads i am making a bash for my trials bike. i am running try all cranks at the minute and my bashring is broke.it was a second hand one that i was using anyway.i know there are only about 15 pound but i want to give it a go. i have already got a steel saw disc cut down to size but it looks a bit dangerous if my leg catches it even though is has been smoothed off. so any ideas anyone??????
