  1. Dont really do editing yet,,havent got enough footage mate and plus i have no idea where to start, and i just thought it was funny because the whole recording went wrong with my landing being so hard, then wiiiiinstaaan getting in the way in his focus(winston actualy is his name),and then sam my mate on the pitbull crapping himself and backing out lol Thanks mate yeh i know,i need to buy a helmet, and some shin pads
  2. Little Link......................soz its of my facebook.......................... http://www.facebook.com/kimbles0304?ref=nf...7752&ref=nf Me dropping a bottle bank, highest thing i'd dropped since i started riding a like 3 months ago,and a little bit of comedy along the way with my mate pussying out,and a car pulling in front of the camera. comments would be funny if you can watch it and any tips on how to smooth down my landings would be nice
  3. only if i lend him my Gu frame,he snapped his koxx then the planet x he was using
  4. Gonna try my hardest to make this one too
  5. Hoping i can make it lads,be good to ride some new territory with new riders, ill no doubt speak to u on msn or facebook before hand, looking forward to it to be honest
  6. lol looks like the skin of an old mans ballbag
  7. I see you doing those in your videos, absolutely amazing,i watch back and try to remember it in my head when i ride, but im on stock so a little different i guess?? no luck yet for me but hopefully ill be doing them soon as iv only been riding stock again for a few months, love your style G!!
  8. Thanks for that mate im so much better on my czar that im riding now, went back to it after trying the Gu,my czar's a 1080 wheelbase and i love it,id have a proper video but the guy who has all the footage on his camera is slow at uploading and editing so might just get it all off his cam and do it myself I dont think i can because it's 3gp format and i dont think the uploader allows for it
  9. Little vid of me trying to get used to the long Typhoon 06,couldnt find a balance point though http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/video/vi...3043&ref=nf wish i could find the balance point on it because i love Gu's
  10. For when you have a go at re setting your rear brake http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/wiki/How_to_...p_a_Magura_HS33 you'l find lots of info on the wiki part of this forum
  11. Oh if you think your headsets f****d then check your bearings in it,if its not a cartridge unit you may be able to just replace the cage bearings that are in ther, theyre cheap as chips
  12. Right K,you need to undo the two bolts on the side of the stem, then nip up that allen key bolt on the top of ur stem, nip it up a bit and check it each time you do by holding the front brake locked on and pushing it backwards and forwards to see if you have tightened tour heasdset enough... if it doesnt tighten up you'l need to check your star nut thats inside your steerer tube of your forks, you will be able to see this if you remove the bolt completely thats holding the stem down via the top cap,may be a case that you have to knock it down a little bit further, also something to check, make sure you have enough spacers (those carbon looking rings under your stem,if theres not enough on ther and theres you wont be able to tighten your headset up enough As for your red knob thingy(this is called a turbo pad adjuster,or tpa for short) theres a section or thread on here possibly in the trials wiki that runs you through a way of fixing it,it's a bodge but apparently it works a treat....hope thats helped fella
  13. Yeah,im loving it,best move i ever made going to stock,i cant wait to go back to london on it,im doing large drops now, resonable gaps and i can static up to handlebar height now to the back wheel, and also almost sidehop up the same sort of height, and all within like a month,so going very well Youre looking fairly smooth lad,as i said good work, im a little bit annoyed now though being honest,i went out after posting a reply to your vid,and changed pads and because i have a wide rear rim i'v had to mess about, and i overtightened one of my maggie mount threads, basicaly it's gonna strip!! doh!! and i just gone back to my czar frame after trying out a Gu typhoon i bought recently, looks as if ill be riding the long beast again once that thread strips completely till i can be bothered to get it helicoiled!! and the ironic thing is...i just repaired my mates pitbull frames threads and said the famous words, ive never threaded any frame mounts before! n ther! i have now lol....
  14. nice lil vid there buddy Im just trying to get used to sidehopping my tank of a stock haha joking,it's sweet,im getting on lovely since i started riding stock though,i'll have a video on soon i hope of me and some bedford riders, good work...keep it up ??? hmmm ??? what to do with my Gu stock, long 06 frame laying around idol?? lol
  15. +1 to that,i love mine,it's an 127.5mm axle,68mm shell,love the green axle too
  16. Nooo dont use cooking oil, people in the really old skool days used it as a substitiute in their hs33's,it said in the actual magura manuals that came with the brake that you could use it,but you'd have to flush it all out properly, just don't do it,it's not worth it,just go get some dot 5.1 proper fluid,or i use castrol response synthetic super dot 4 in my hope mono trial(newer style)....it really is a simple process to bleed,i done a perfect job first time even though i was nervous, now it's childplay to me,hardest part which isnt even hard is as psycholist says, rolling the diaphragm on so you get no air in the system......you'l be fine, just dont get oil on your disc or pads....... http://www.hopegb.com/page_mep_force_33.html also this link might help,i know its for a hope like i have and not a magura,but....it will point you in the right direction, good luck
  17. Also why kieron gets the chance i'd suggest it might be an idea to clean the pistons up a lil so they move more freely,it may be crud on them also makin it feel poo at the lever,so basicaly take your pads out, stick something else in there a lil wider like a small block of wood, pump your lever slowly to get the pistons to come out,not too much though, now clean any crud off them with a clean rag, oh and i sprayed some light teflon lube into my lever where the reach adjuster is once i'd cleaned and re-bled mine to smooth all that down too, worked a treat, just make sure it's not a spray that will eat your seals in there,it will keep everything running nicely you also already know this but please..make sure at all times that you dont get anything on your disc or pads
  18. Computer says noooo!! I done this and it really isnt a way to get yourself validated, read Mikes guide to validation sonny and stick to them and you will be ok
  19. Why'a'thank you plenty of those ananlagy's to come haha...i'll have a look and advise my friend and make myself look clever all thanks to you guys .............joking don't kill me lol,ill be sure to say how helpfull you all have been
  20. Haha yeh coulda been a bit faster Hmm im gonna have to break the bad news to him then, txt message ahoy lol....cheers for all the replys lads Any links to helicoil kits and prices etc please glad i never damage my frames,ha and he's off to work in halfords soon, hopefully he will learn how to not crossthread and strip,jeez...and thats exactly what he did muel,he tightened one side of the clamp down loads, then with it at an angle he pushed the other side of the clamp down and got the bolt to start going in,then obviously it got tight then pop!! out it come with the thred..he must have done it multiple times because there is nothing in there, you can drop the bolt in there without it touching the sides, kinda like a granny prositutes gash would be like hahaha!! nice one, good tip paul,i'll get him to do that till he can get a proper fix, although he never runs a booster so M6 might not be too bad to him, does rule out one option for him though if he ever decides he wants to run a booster
  21. dont think he's gonna go for hose clamps, its a new frame,he really needs to take care of his things but he's forever messing round undoing this and that,by hose clamps do you mean as in jubilee clips like they use on cars hoses? will M5 defo have no hold what so ever?? forget this last post,i just tried that tap in my Gu frame sitting next to me and muels sooo right, the thread already is M5...DOH!!
  22. sweet, thanks paul, yep im takin two drill bits,i'll try the smaller one 1st because i want a good deep thread,im just wary because i've never really tapped aluminium and not so sure about the strength of the thread once you have made it,im an engineer and done it to steel plenty of time, also is it advisable to use talo(lard like lubrucant) on it? Ooh mixed opinions im just trying it for my friend to see if it works,i thought that they were M4 though as its a 4mm allen key you use to remove the bolts?? arrgghhh confusion settling in lol
  23. In a nutshell,my mates f****d one of his maggie mounts on his pitbull frame, its usual M4 size,im just on my way to his with a 4.2mm and a 4.6mm drill bit and a perfect spankin new M5 tap piece, will it work instead of heli coiling? im just wondering because of the small difference in size?? help please
  24. Don't really know wether MK has a big trials scene at the moment to be honest,i havent been there for a while, keep meaning to go ride there as its 20mins from me on the train or coach, will be going soon,as for the bashring/bashplate bit, stick to your bashplate, trust me as this is what mods were designed to have, plus you'l have a much more stable balancing platform if you wish to rest on it for a bit to either take a breather,or make your next move, they rarely break, just make sure you have a small rubber block in place between the plate and the frame, and always check the bolts tightness that hold on the bashplate, bashplates just the same as bashrings are replacable in most cases,so bash away (no dirty references please lads ) And as for those frames,my mate has one in black with carbon stickers,he lands heavy sometimes, and bashplates hard, and not one problem with it,theyre strong, stiff and ride really well,it is a monty after all....they know what theyre doing with their products and are well trusted
