  1. Ouch, unlucky! How'd you do that? Hope it heals up alright Idiot
  2. Okay im just gunna hijack your thread a little here, anyone know how long it would take a magura pad (heatsink blue CNC) to bed in (riding time) on a smooth, unground, anodized rim? Average.. i know its hard to say... Just want to know how long i should be looking at, minuites, hours, days, weeks? Sounds good ben, any plans for a video? (assuming you get the pads working?)
  3. Yeah CRMs was the ones i was thinking of. Oh i thought you were a streety rider ben? That picture is saying heatsink yellows to me, Heatsink backings defiantly/100% so i would have said the material is heatsink too! EDIT: In the slim chance that they are TNN check this: skip to 0:40.
  4. Yellow pads did exist, they were made a while ago, one of TNN's first pads if im not mistaken, they were made for smooth rims. If you go on TNN's site/youtube channel you may be able to find more about them. My friend alex had some a while ago i cant really remember what they were like though, sorry, however he found they were shit, i went on his bike to test them gave his bike back and they were good, maybe you need me to ride your bike EDIT: whats your new bike?
  5. Thats a freaking scairy line! Maybe one for the future, wall ride to the other wall?
  6. No Not a game, just thought some people might like to see this: http://tribalzine.com/?Play-by-Trial-Bikes Theres a typo where it says 8 pounds because 8LBS > 3ish KG and im pretty sure it doesn't weigh 3 KG. EDIT: or link: http://www.trial-bikes.com/play-bike-light-bike-p-536411.html?azx=1280
  7. I wanted to watch that just because of the girls really... dont have sky though, atleast im not missing out
  8. I ripped ONE of my old heatsink blue pads when getting them out to put the refills in if you want a plastic backing and the other heatsink pad, your welcome to have that for free if you want mate because i know you loved kennys yellows.
  9. Fair enough, i thought that'd be the reaction.. never mind. I dont normally get interested atall but this year i'm REALLY into it.
  10. Bit late to make this topic i know, and with it being a mainly guys forum, i dont expect alot of people to watch, just wanted to see the interest and thoughts on this years X-factor. Personly i want Janet to win

So... you can only enter if you have an inpulse frame... and the prize is an inpulse frame..?
  12. Sorry, i thought that was for building so didn't bother looking. I wouldn't have been able to look anyway, just needed to print something off then go back to class.
  13. Gotta be quick as im not ment to be on here, got new wheel, its egged which spokes do i tighten and which ones do i loosen to de-egg it? Diagrams may be helpfull?
  14. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS GOT IT OFF!!!!!!!!!!!! f**k YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Wasn't even the tinyest drop of oli on there, might have explained it a little..?
  15. Just watched the tartybikes video guide again and he spins it "anti clockwise" Surly that'd mean its being loosened as you ride? Which cant be right??? Is it anti clockwise with ALL sprockets?
  16. I really dont know how to do this anymore. wheel has been built onto the new rim so i can give it some propper tugging without worrying about the spokes snapping. However if i put the sprocket in the vice and pull it, it'll just slip round. I'll probally have to grind the f**king thing into a grip-able shape but is there any way to make it easyer, i was pulling it with the tyre/tube on.
  17. Bit too late now... sprocket is a square with no teeth, alex is going to rebuild the wheel then with ALL the spokes tight and in place try to undo the wheel like that, will use the tube/tyre with it too!!
  18. Update: its snapped 4 chains, 1 chain whip, a 3m pole cant undo it. Im pretty worried now as i've given alex and kenny pomition to use an angle grinder on it
  19. They come out in 24 and 26 24: 1075mm 60mm 375mm 26: 1086mm 60mm 377mm
  20. That was such a good riding bike! Sidehops beautifully and very light.
  21. I would but i didn't really want to be buying a new one. If i have to i have to but we'll see what alex-trials-boy and kenny--trials can do with it.
  22. It didn't mess the sprocket up, the sprocket is fine, its the chain that took the damage.
  23. So i just got alex trials boy (forum name) round to help get it off, used the same techneque as adam in his tarty video. Couldn't be bothered to tighten up the spokes... and guess what happened Yep... We snapped the 1300kg load chain
