  1. damn I thought someone had made them so that they come green.
  2. Really enjoyable vid. Also what bars are on plebs bike? Scott
  3. There should be comps more often in scotland. The only comp I've ever seen up here is at Fort William. There would be a bigger turn out if the national bike trials club scottish series had kept going. Although next year I am going to be starting comps down in yorkshire, as the train fair down to my nan's from glasgow is only £18 single way 1st class. And after all whats the point in having a £1000+ bike when you dont use it for what it's designed for. Thats my opinion, sure someone is going to disagree. Scott
  4. thanks, I will. I agree that it rides luverly, feels really nice doing anything on, even spinny stuff.
  5. Cam have you heard anything on whats going on as it's been ages now? scott
  6. this looks like its gonna be my favourite vid to date. even the teaser is amazing. I can't wait for the full vid. scott
  7. trialtech, they are the best in my opinion. I wouldn't get any other now.
  8. Doubt it to be honest they wouldn't get very far as these are that shiny you can see them a mile of. Gold frames are basically huge reflectors. I dont mind the 2010 one but this one is disqusting to be honest, not a huge fan of monty's. But the 2010 one I wouldn't mind if it had a decent build for comps. agree'd
  9. good turnout if the weathers good, since this will be my first proper ride.
  10. There's one I've been trying to do for a while now but when ever I seem to do it I slip of the front wheel. Bloody tyre preasure. Well first you start to do a foot-jam whip but instead of putting your foot though the forks, you jam the front brake on a put your foot side ways along the forks and then put your other foot onto the other side (I wouldn't advice if your not using a disc to be honest, you may want to keep your crossover or vee's straight) and then as the rear comes around, you take the front foot off and try and put it back on the pedal. The bars must spin 180 from were you started as the rear wont get round unless your really good at it (which I'm not). This would look smart as feck if you could do it in a 360. Also look at some bmx flatland stuff you may find something you could incorperate into a trials trick instead of a bmx. Scott
  11. I dont even think a chav would nick it. They only ever seem to take the decent bikes.
  12. might not be a weird injury but i sliced my middle finger open on my magura mounts of my fork. still got the scar as it went down to the bone.
  13. As everyone has said wear your helmet, could have been alot worse. Next time try and level out abit more, you were practically vertical when you landed. I've done a head shot aswell, I did mine attempting a tap onto a picnic table and the back wheel didn't make it and I fell into an empty pool head first. Plus side though I think I got smarter, I learnt to wear my helmet. I should of learnt that though when I rupsured my spleen and hit my head on my front wheel (while being KO'd). Look for some 'ass pads', they should make it less of a pain in the arse next time. Good luck finding them though. Good luck on the next try. Make sure to video it and show us.
  14. yeah, I'm trying to swap some parts for some new bars and as for the stem it will do until I have my new wheels as these are nasty. stem though is going to be a white trialtech. I have quite a few plans for this.
  15. it doesnt say the length of time though. I looked at mine but I had asked tarty before I bought it what the warranty was like.
  16. Thanks, I will try it this way if this happens again. This thread should help people in a similar position. I will need to dig out my old bmx axel and nuts then. Many thanks Scott
  17. What forks do people think would go nice. out of these two makes?
  18. Hi there, I am wondering if there is another way to get a freewheel of the crank as this is going to be my third ENO centre in 2 weeks. This is because I've been having problems with my chain line on my limey20 and I'm skint. Took it to the lbs and he broke 2 freewheel tools in the process and it didnt budge a bit, this made the bit where the pawls go in get wrecked on my first one. so i ordered a new one and put that on and had to make adjustments on my crank spacer and messed it up. So I got another one slightly thinner so that I wouldn't have to modify it. I have tried so far using; a hammer and screw driver, heat and the hammer and screw driver process again. Although the heat way worked, I had to buy a new centre and they are nearly the price of another freewheel (£32). This is just becoming a joke as I'm also using a try-all rim with something like 9 cracks, If I keep replacing the centre bit I'm never going to be able to buy my new wheelset. Many Thanks Scott
  19. lol.......nice try though
