I had to cut about 1 inch off mine, just knocked the star down with a little bit of tube and got the hacksaw to them. It all depends on your headtube length and the stem your going to be using really, although you do want to leave at least 10mm (i left 15) for spacers so that you can use the forks on other frames/stems or even when you one day think of selling them.
  2. The standard Louise is extremely powerful as it is, can't see how you would need anymore. Also i can't say this for sure but i cant see that changing the lever would help, would probably cause much more hassel than good.
  3. As been said, turn your handlebars a few degress to the direction you want to spin the rest seems to come fairly natural. You will probably find at first you will move in like an arch shape but after a couple of hours practise should be pretty tight on the spot I gotta admit though they do wear you out pretty fast.
  4. Carpet adhesive There never coming off again though, there stuck on forever.

I just got my 09 urbans about 3 days ago, had 2 proper rides since and there really nice. Gave the front end a nice light feel although i was using standard onza's last time, they also have a real chunky look to them as they bow out at the top which is pretty reasurring.
  6. Trialtech foams are pretty thick, thicker than most rubbers i believe.
  7. I've had my foams on for 6 months, still got plenty left on them and are still pretty spongey.
  8. I rode with rubber grips on all my bikes, even before trials and since i started to use trial tech foams i would never use any other grips again lol. I find rubber grips rip your hands to pieces, foam are so friendly
  9. You best get your bike on sunday, sooner the better eh. I used to use flat bars then i changed to risers about 2 weeks after buying my bike. They do have a more comfortable feel to them, also they are more adjustable to suit you personally. As well as that they do look pretty nice on a bike. Stevie
  10. Comment of the year, made my day.
  11. I bought a Bell Fusion Venture for £24.99 from my LBS. Looks good and is really comfortable
  12. Frame looks so good (so does the whole bike) and the snow makes it looks pretty epic as well.
  13. Haha thanks It's strange how i'm more comfortable going straight to back wheel than i am sidehopping, i'm scared of sidehops!! :(
  14. Yeah i realised that i barely move when i sidehop Also i actually nearly died on the way home.
  15. Hi, Thought i'd upload me side hopping up 5 pallets, this was from tonight and it was about -3C which is hard to find the motivation to ride. I did try 6 and got very very close a few times but the cold got the better of me and i went home I've never seen myself ride except from this tiny vid, so i wondered what my "style" is like, i always try to be smooth. I'm still not sure that it looks like i put that much effort into my sidehop, but then again i only learnt to sidehop about 4-5 days ago. I have only been riding 4-5 months properly so you must understand i'm not that good. Stevie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMi-C1RMDKU
  16. Thanks, i hope to ride more street kinda stuff and i do live fairly close to matlock so might be worth trying a bit of natural. Been pallets again tonight but it was around -3C and it was like going ice skating which even when riding it was hard to find the motivation try new stuff. I did get very very close to sidehopping 6 pallets but the cold got the better of me and i went home Also tried some "to front" stuff, i was only doing 1 pallet to 1 pallet and managed to get about 1 ft more than my bikes length. I filmed me side hopping 5 pallets just to show you how i ride, its only a tiny clip but never uploaded anything before so why not. Thanks for your help guys
  17. Smurf is at college, My brother is at work and Mole lives near you. Could do though
  18. Thats the thing, i ride pallets almost all the time so i have this tendancy to make stuff either too small or too easy for myself but i keep riding the same things lol. Also i need to get more creative with the pallets
  19. Just had a little play in the garden to see how things went. I can make it to front but i get no more than 8 inches off the ground and only about a 1 foot gap lol, I guess practose makes perfect though eh.
  20. Troy troy troy, i thought you knew everyone.
  21. Yeah, i'm not tat great at sidehops i only really "found" the technique to do them like 3 days ago lol. And thanks for the replys guys, just need the confidence to try gaps to front it looks so scary.
  22. Hi guys, After riding for about 5 months i have came to a point where i need a pointer on what kind of stuff to try next. I'm not saying in any way that i have perfected what i can do and i am aware i can get higher and further already but i just wondered if anyone could suggest anything. I ride pallets 80% of the time. What i can do so far - To backwheel 5-6 pallets. Sidehop 5 pallets. Gap my height (about 5" 11) Gapping from like post to post (if you understand me) at a low height. And i have set up a few "lines" with pallets including most of these things. What should i try next ? Thanks
