  1. Tarty, i just re-setup my brakes again, yet to test them.
  2. Non of us are local enough for you too ride from, and yeah we will be there at 9 and will stay at the library for a while as it's pretty good i guess so anytime after 9 is cool.
  3. Well me and Smurf will be down at the big library steps at about 9am not sure about the other guys, i'll ask them soon. About parking, there's plenty of places to park but nearly all of them are pay and displays.
  4. Well after a lil more riding with them today, i swear they got louder but less powerful And as for not moving on when people tell me to F*** off, it's kinda difficult when there's 2 of us and 15 ish of them, sadly the idiots ruin it again Not too sure what to do now.
  5. Yeah, it's pretty good. Quite a bit of stuff to go at for all levels of riding really, hope to see you there If you come as well we have about 7 riders which is cool
  6. Yeah, i did think that but they do seem very powerful. I hope they quieten down a little bit, as there annoying for both me and other people
  7. Thanks for the replys guys, I don't fancy grinding down my new pads but thanks for the advise anyways all much appreciated. I'll look into a booster soon, i'm riding all day sunday probably wont have it by then so i'm going to have fun squeaking away for a while. Thanks Stevie
  8. It's an onza blade, and no booster. I was thinking of fitting a booster soon anyways as my frame does flex slightly when i pull hard. And thanks for the well explained reply
  9. Smooth rim, and no tar never used tar. And the pads are amazing, sharp bite and brilliant hold, just ever so slightly noisy
  10. Hi, I got some new Onza Citrus pads for my rear HS33, and there brilliant but they really are extremely noisey. I was riding tonight and i had people telling me to F*** off because they are so noisy, i'm not expecting them to be quiet or neither am i moaning but, is there any possible way of making them quiter without sacrifising the amazing bite? Thanks for any help Stevie
  11. Yo Dan, we've sorted Smurf out with a bike now i think And my mum n dad are home now so we'll be out all sunday A will be nice to meet another new person as well Stevie
  12. I definatly havn't stripped them, they still tighten up properly i just don't wanna over tighten them but they still seem tight enough to hold as the left cylinder is not moving in it's mount.
  13. I tried that, i tightened them up as far as they will possibly go without stripping the threads in the frame.
  14. I noticed my right cylinder was tilted to one side a little, i must of been like this for a while because my pads have worn in a strange way. So i loosened the brackets and made sure the big washer that goes round the cylinder was straight and tightened them up, to noticed after 15mins of riding they've moved back to pretty much the exact same position as before. I'm confused Any help much appreciated
  15. Alright, thanks alot for speedy reply, i'm riding all day tomorrow; don't want it breaking on me
  16. Right, i just got new rim tape so put that on, and while putting my rear wheel back on i tightened my chain (using chain tensioners) as it was slightly slack. I got the wheel straight in the frame, and my chain the correct tension but when i spin it round there's a really tight spot and i don't know why, all help greatly appreciated This is on an Onza blade btw. Thanks
  17. Stunning bike mate, good job
  18. Managed to get out tonight for about 2 hours (was a bit wet though), the bars and stem feel awesome. More comfy and seem to have a more positive feel, loving them so far
  19. Thanks alot. I've only got them this morning, and it's been raining all day sadly so not had chance to try them yet. Had a little ride round the garden and they feel good so far. Going out for a ride all day sunday so will report back after that
  20. Glad you like it, would like to say that tarty bikes rock All the stuff (except the bike) i ordered from them came next morning, and they were super helpful.
  21. Here are a few pics of my onza blade, i got the bars and stem this morning but it's pouring it down here so not going to be riding today. This is my first bike, and i love it. Not that much different from standard, the only things i've changed are : Bars, Stem, Front brake and grips. Hope you like it.
  22. Thanks alot, that's pretty much answered my question. I'll be ordering the viz bars/stem from tarty today Thanks all.
  23. Thanks for the replys, and what LukasMcNeal said it was your bike that made me look at the Viz bars, they look hot. As for the rise, what difference would the bigger rise make?
  24. Oh, sorry i forgot that bit ( the more important bit ) I have a Onza blade with the standard bars/stem atm, i only do street riding and i havnt been riding for that long so nothing huge.
  25. Ok, so i'm ordering my new bars and stem tomorrow and i had my mind set on buying the VIZ Pro 720's, and the VIZ welded stem (150mm x 30) which apparantly is a very nice combonation. But after looking around the bike pics section, it seems more people use the trialtech sport bars and stem and i wondered what your guys opinions are on the two combo's? Thanks alot in advance.
