How wide are V8s compared to Trials-specific pedals like Trialtechs? Are they thinner?

It's sorted now, thanks for all the replies. I used a chain tool and pushed the pin through like half a millimetre or something and then pushed it back the other way and now it's not stiff at all =) Although I need a chainstay protector I've decided now lol.

You ARE really sad teaching a game that doesn't exist =P. You don't even have a Playstation lol.

Should have thought of that lol. I guess it seemed sort of counter-intuitive: tighten it to loosen the link lol... Thanks.

Having just put on my new chain, I've found that there's a stiff link in it, so that when I run the chain round it doesn't flow smoothly 'cause this link causes the chain to 'jump', same with the tensioner. Any solutions?

Three things. Firstly, I didn't mean to start a fight with you, sorry buddy. Nor was I trying to be offensive saying shut up you're wrong or screw you, hence the lol. Like I said, it was in my in denial/disbelief/offended/whatever-else-I-said tone. In other words, I was joking. Secondly, there is literally NOTHING wrong with any of my posts. Lol, thanks... I thought of that, but the problem seems to be that the pins seem wider on the outside of the links that the gaps that they're in, if that makes sense, so it doesn't look as if the pins will push through?

This may sound stupid, but I've been trying for ages to shorten the chain to get it to an acceptable tension. I thought the obvious thing was to use a chain tool, but either that doesn't seem to work or you have to twist the handle so hard it hurts your hand/might break the chain or something. What the hell do I do lol?

Yeah I did know =) Thanks for the info though. That's why I said FFW or RFH. I knew they were different. I was just wondering about it 'cause of all the trials pros who talk about 'the pro2 trials is the best hub' blah blah blah, but if all the good people have FFW and fixed hubs anyway, then how do they know?

Apparently you have to tighten the cranks up as much as you can as soon as you get them, otherwise they'll just keep coming loose whatever you do. It happened to me as well, and eventually my cranks got shredded some how and I had to get new ones. I don't have any advice though lol 'cause I didn't even sort mine. Just warning you =S
