How hard would it be to strip apart one of my coil overs and shorten the shock inside? It's on airbags and the shock bottoms out really early which means it doesn't go as low as id like it to?
The company i bought the system from will do the whole lot for £120, but being a mechanic id rather try myself! Has anyone serviced shocks or anything of the sort before? -
It should not be worse, when you think you met with a very good lady, and you are aware you are strange so only a few girls would like you and generally be your gf, but she seems to be fit you, as your experience says, but as it turned out her gf will move with her soon...

Thats from a healed pierced ear. So going straight to a 2mm shouldn't be a problem?

Does anyone know if you can go straight from a piercing, to 1.6mm and then straight to a 2mm without ripping your ear?

So turns out my mechanics just a twat, the original alternator belt snapped after he'd removed and reinstalled it to do the cambelt change, it was old anyway so I took his word for it when he claimed it wasn't his fault. Just left work and the alternator belt snapped yet again, this one was brand new as of Thursday. I also got him to change the rear pads whilst he was working and now the drivers side is squealing like f**k (as if metal is being dragged along the disc) and the pedal is now wooden and gash :/
Hard pedal is pretty normal when chaining your pads and its probably just a backing plate mate.

So me and Mr Dan O'Shea fitted air ride to my Polo! I need to get custom top mountings made but they're £100 for just the plate and bearing, then I've got to get the PCD of the 13mm bolts drill and tapped by an engineering company.
Heres a picture anyway!
These are the solid mounts I've found, how hard would it be to ask a engineer firm to make some of these?

Can anyone give me me a good example of how to work out torque multiplication?
For example, how i could work out:
Engine speed is 1000RPM
Gear ratio is = 2.1.1
Final drive ratio is 4:1
I need to be able to work out the propeller shaft speed and wheel speed
That isn't a question i need for an exam paper, but a question off a mock test to prepare us for tomorrows exam

Yeah i had a V brake on adapters that were on the back on my forks, i just couldn't get them to work and couldn't figure out why!

A guy in a pimped white mitsubishi evo who was going pretty quick in an empty lane on the dual carriageway slowed down next to me, mouthed "nice car dude!" I gave him a thumbs up, he did the same then accelerated off from 70 pretty impressively.
How often does this happen to you guys? Just curious.
This happens to me quite a lot.. Probably because the 'dub' scene is so big at the moment
