  1. Ha Tris! Still got my 24 for the bashing stuff Hi mate. I got my set from www.merlincycles.co.uk http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/Bike+Shop/MTB++Parts/Brakes/Disc+Brakes/Magura+Disc+Brakes/Magura+MT2+Disc+Brakes+-+Front++Rear+Set_MAGURA-MT2.htm All brakes are really cheap. If you are non European you dont not have to pay VAT Either. Have a look on this link http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/Bike+Shop/MTB++Parts/Brakes/Disc+Brakes/Magura+Disc+Brakes/Magura+MT2+Disc+Brakes+-+Front++Rear+Set_MAGURA-MT2.htm Sam.
  2. Cheers Dan! Hopefully i can take both to Radfest
  3. cant wait as well Should be good fun. Can i just turn up? ( Sorry if it's been mentioned elsewhere )
  4. Go for a 4 bolt. Atleast then if its too much you can always cut it down into a 2 bolt.
  5. I think you will be better off on a 24 or a 26. You look massive on a mod dude!
  6. Cheers Rob. I think the length is 1020 from the top of my head.
  7. Since getting my Echo 24 i've not ridden my mod at all. I much prefer 24 than my mod, but i thought i'd treat it to a few new parts. I'm going to use it as a competition bike i think. Anyway, it looks alot nicer than it did before. Really impressed with the performance of the Magura MT2 brakes. Already they hold and bite really well and i've hardly ridden it! Comments would be nice

  9. M83 - Midnight City. Nice one Tom
  10. Considering its such a small hassle free adjustment, just undo the 4 or 2 bolt on your stem, tilt forward and try it like that. If it doesnt feel right go backwards or more forward depending on how you like it
  11. Cheers pal. I think i do prefer it compared to my mod. I am in the process of making my mod my competition bike, so time shall soon tell.
  12. I emailed This company as their website looks very profesional and seem to know what they're on about. This is what i sent them, word for word. Hi, I've been searching around for somewhere that can sandblast, or whatever need to be done to take the powercoating off my bicycle frame. What kind of price range will we be looking at? Regards, Sam. G&L Coating LTD: to sandblast frame 40 Me: Right okat that doesnt sound too bad. How long will i have to leave the frame with you for? G&L Coating LTD: couple of days
  13. Thanks Tom, height feels spot on. What tyres are you running on your Kabra?
  14. So who's right here then? some saying sand yes, some saying sand no?
  15. Sand blasted mate. I want to get the dullish grey finish the Koxx sky 2's have on them, so didnt really want to polish it
  16. I got a rather blunt reply back from a place near me, saying it would be 40 pounds. Dont see the point in doing it for the 'fun' of it though?
  17. That was really good, short and sweet. Anybody know the song name?
  18. Cheers for the quick reply! Ill just put an old BB and some bolts in the Magura mounts anyway. I'm considering keeping it Raw depending on how it would look. I'm still not 100% sure on whether to take the original paint off my Ozonys anyway. I thought Ali oxidises as well? Must be mistaken.
  19. As the topic titles says, I'm looking at getting my Mod frame sand blasted but I have a few questions. Before taking it in, is it worth sticking bolts in the magura mounts and BB threads to protect them? Will sand blasting be too harsh on a Aliminium frame? Will it still oxidise and loose the finish you get after it being blasted? Any tips and answers will be great. Thanks
  20. Cheers mate They're Phatpads. Stupidly noisey haha
  21. Had this fior a while now but had lots of problems with trying to upload pictures to the forum. I got myself a DSLR camera and thought this would be a good time to try it out. It's set up perfectly now, all i need is a new ( lighter ) front tyre and my metal TPA to arrive from Tartys.. Enjoy.
