  2. scrap the typhoon idea, theres one for sale on here i sent the guy an email ages ago ready to go down there with cash in hand, and no reply and theres already people fighting over it on the thread hahaha. the not being able to message people is a bit of a crapper imo as ive missed out on a few bikes on here now because i cant message anyone! sob sob. theres a echo lite and also a bt raven near me 26" both seem pretty cool with decent spec. are the raven any good bikes? i sold my 20" now as couldnt get on with it it was a long, was gona try a 20" short or maybe a 26". sorry for the ramble just want to get good info before i view a bike and find out ive bought a lemon lol, cheers
  3. hi both are short, both well specced with hs33, hope, echo tryall etc etc. thanks
  4. as above anyone rode these bikes and whats the better of the two? theres one of each for sale local to me and got cash to burn lol thanks guys

  6. hi guys quick question what is the norm length for a crank arm on a trials bike? i presume there diferent to a normal mtb etc? just asking as seen a bike i like but it seems to have cranks off a mountain bike on and just wondered if this is ok or whether its been thrown together with any old parts? thanks
  7. dude 300 quid is enough for a nice bike, theres loads around you just got to look, theres also loads around with dreamer price tags lol. check on southerndownhill.com some decent bikes on there within your budget. ornag hitman are good bikes i had one for sale a while ago as new with good spec and it was a pain to sell even at 250 pounds. shop around as theres bargains to be had this time of year dont jump in head first lol .
  8. hi intrested in the gu..... sent you email, thanks

  9. at last a topic i can participate in hahaha, been riding for years dude. low end bikes are saracen mongoose etc then you go up a bit to flow kona commencal azonic 24/7 then the better top end bikes are ns transition cove yeti . for 300 youl get a decent brand decent spec bike, loads of bargains out there so shop wisely and get a nice ride, i have a transition bottle rocket which i use for dirt and then swap tyres over and tiffen it up for street, great bike to ride but a dear build. for around 300 id be looking at a cheap ns 24/7 or a cove, ive had konas and hate them, they break easy, the ns bikes are lush to ride street or park, really nicly made. hope this helps buddy oh and im not far from you so if you get one and wana tag along over the trails etc message me, thanks
  10. hi guys thanks for the replies, ive seen them mad ones and they look and feel cheap imo, i want a decent one like zoo, czar, echo, onza, koxx as im old and in my midlife crisis stage and find i break cheap things in the hobbies ive tried lol. im totally new to trials, im still learning to get it up on the back wheel and get my balance etc etc, ive had years of downhill and motox so not used to slow and technicall attitude, more flat out and hope for the best hahaha. ive tried a few diff bar and stem combos now but the bike just doesnt feel right, im going to look out for a 24/26" i think, although the 20 is easy to move about i dont feel comfy so never gonna progress i think, ive got around £400 quid in cash here for a bike now so as soon as one comes up near me im on it in a flash lol. seen a fair few nice ones but there all miles away up north. seen a few decent make and spec 26" aroud for this amount so i guess just a case of waiting for one, then i need to hook up with some riders in my area as i need to learn the basics first. some of you guys have a lot of skill on here
  11. ive no one to ride trials with at moment so cant really progress as dont know what half them moves are haha. i hear what your saying but the 20" ive got feels weird, same height stem and bars as my mates but frames are diff lengths hes being tad bigger then mine. when the bike doesnt feel right you dont get confidence to try stuff, well im speaking from downhill and bmx point of view think i need to try a few out but a quick ride around on my mates and it felt rite straight away, ok hes is a good spec like king/tryall parts but i dont mind paying for a decent one if its gona helo me learn better etc. hopefully il get a bike sorted soon then hook up for some street riding as theres no one around here so imay have to venture out in the van lol.
  12. well had a quick go on a mates echo 20" and felt totally diferent to mine, frames are only slightly difenet in length but feel miles apart. think im going to look out for a long 20" or a 24"/26". thanks for the replys guys ive seen a fair few over the past month but by the time ive read up on the bikes they have gone lol. im totally new to this so i want to buy a decent bike first time round rather then upgrading over the year. is there anyone in surrey whos riding still as id love to get into it but as with most things i doubt il progress unless i ride with people who can il keep checking ebay and here, theres been a few on here for sale but it wont let me contact the member by message etc, i must be hounest me and a few others wanting to get into trials sort of gave up trying a while back on here as not being able to access bits is a tad annoying, sadly they havent bothered with trials which is a shame, i understand people moan about it but surely you should be able to send a pm? if theres a bike for sale on here how do i get in contact with the seller?, all the best
  13. well got myself a zoo 20" had for a month now and it feels too small, so much so i dont ride anymore, i really want a 26" but seems to be none around, i missed a nice echo and a czar on ebay recently, any good places to look as i cant find any and dont really wana give it up as im only just getting into it and trying to get away from bmx and dh as too many injurys lol ive got 3/400 cash which i presume will buy me a half decent clean one? im looking at zoo/echo/czar any others? any advice apreciated, thanks
  14. true but any forum has scammers more of them sell stuff not ask for stuff lol. i agree rules are rules but as a newbie i must say i found it a little harsh specially as posts for bikes for sale in the newbie bit get slatted. i want to get into trials, i have no bike at mo and it feels like i cant participate in the forum much as a restriceted person. dont take it the wrong way as this is prolly the best looking trials forum but i was a little put off at first. i can see the validation bit hard as no one knows you. either ways i hope i get a bike soon and just get out and ride.
  15. i agree but as a newbie wanting to get into trials and bikless i cant put a wanted add up for a bike?
  16. ah i thought so but didnt wana get in conversation and talk about stuff i didnt know lol, so i want a stock echo or zoo then, im learning the lingo slowly now haha. cheers dude
  17. hi quick question and dont laugh but i keep seeing people saying stock or mod, what does this mean? thanks
  18. hi i already checked tarty out i was hoping to get a decent zoo or the likes used for around 400? i saw one of them yaabaa ones yesterday in brighton some guy was at the whiteair fest on one and it looked nicer then a nice thing.. ok soon as i can get into the other sections il start my search as dont fancy buying new until i get good at it lol . thanks
  19. hey guys new to the trials scene, had a wee go on a 20 inch and found it fun but a tad small, im hoping to get a 26 as im adicted, any advice on good brands or specs etc? totall newbie with these so be gentle lol ive got between 150 and 450 if need be but would rather buy a decent one in the first place. all the best
  20. hi guys new to forum and trials virgin lol, been riding bmx and downhill for too many years, see a trials demo and had a little go and am now hooked, you guys make it look easier then i found it lol. bikeless at the mo but will be scouting for a bike on here as we speek. anyone in surrey wana hook up and show me the ropes holla, mucho grassy ass )
