Weight? What is that?
In all seriousness though people worry far too much about how much stuff weighs, get parts that are reliable. Use the brake you prefer, use a tyre you prefer.
Also with tyres, my stiky lite has actually been incredible with puncture resistance considering it's the lightest stock tyre pretty much.
I do run the heaviest tubes I could find though. Kenda dh I think? 450g or something I dunno.

Never ever seen that before, almost reminds me of a leeson with custom graphics lol

Broke my iPhone 5 by dropping it in my poo
Bought 5s for 150
It doesn't work
Feeling like shit.

Stuff can be strong AND light when designed well. Trialtech Sport Lite BB and SL cranks, for example.
I agree, I'm just skeptical to which are actually designed well....
-
Reset is the same / very similar as the standard Try-All BBs, non?
I've shagged 2 reset ti so kinda puts me off reset a tad, steel sounds more appealing though..
-
Yeah I read up about the less than 10 limited FFW middleburns, square taper too unfortunately. Had just enough thread for a FFW, shame would have loved one of those.
Think I'm getting Alex Darks old truvativ, I also do kinda want the reset steel.
Reset: 251g
Trialtech race: 361g
Gigapipe team dh: 319g.
This makes me kinda lean towards the trialtech bb, maybe I'm being silly but I do believe heavier is stronger. I currently use the tryall cranks ash, I do have trialtech 170mm ones I may stick on, wonder how much of a difference 5mm will make to how it rides haha probably f**k all.

The chinese always have such shit music choices, it's like all their videos are self-meditation.
Not being racist in any way, just an observation, the British trials riders seem much better.
British chinese trials riders if I may add.

Cheers Damon, think that's what I was gonna run anyway- thanks for backing it up.
Yeah what I don't understand is TRIALS specific parts are becoming more and more designed to be as light as possible... Compromising strength too. Starting to have to outsource to BMX for chains and DH for cranks, pedals, and bbs. -
Mines not the floating one, it's 203 I'm pretty sure. Gotta wait for my Dad to get home as he uses the garage more than me and has moved everything around haha.
I'll be so ashamed if it isn't the hope saw haha, it deffo has the same shape.

Do it adam!

Where do you live?
Somewhere 110 miles east from Bristol and 90 miles west from Basildon would be my guess....

Gigapipe and Echo tr ?
Ooooh truvativ that's a good shout! Cheers
Currently trying to decide between tryall/echo tr/trialtech forged for the cranks... Still feel like there must be something stronger though
-
I actually found that really boring :/

That's what I have too somewhere hahaha.

My bad! Yeah but after 5 years and starting to go bigger than before it's a little niggle at the back of my mind that wants me to replace them.
Can't afford them to snap on a gap to a rail or something daft haha.
Just wanted to see if I've missed anything out there.

BMX steel cranks or saints probably.
Any idea how to get them to work with ffw?

Rear brake adapter turned up today so I can put my 180mm disc on the back.
Don't suppose anyone has a 180mm front rotor going spare do they? Happy to pay, obviously!
Can have a dig about later dude, if I find one just pay postage.

to be honest I think I'm actually a pretty good driver, before I drove I cycled everywhere for 5 years... I've known all the road rules and seen perspectives from a bikers POV too so when I drive I'm always thinking where a biker could be, usually I tend to think "be careful a fanny like you could be riding/driving past in a sec" and that makes me spend an extra few secs pulling out haha.
And I've done a lot of long distance driving round England and in foreign countries too... So for a 19 year old I'd like to say I'm fairly experienced haha

Just wanna replace mine, I've got some tryall isis and a trialtech steel bb currently fitted...
Any suggestions?
Don't care about weight

Looks like it's gonna be a pretty fresh build man
What does your bike weigh?

Just curious to be honest, mine weighs in at 10.8kg. Was quite surprised at how light it was, have just put lighter tyres on to be fair.
