  1. Well i got the TR and it fits perfect if you just turn the sprocket round so the spacer is on the outside.

Cheers for the comments and advise but glad you was wrong to be honest ahaa.

And as for the thread being stripped we'll have to wait and see.

    Cheers guys.

  2. Hey everyone.

I have been in manchester riding today, and there are some decent spots.

Not loads but can see how it could be good if there was more people down there.

Am gonna get my bike sorted in the next week or two then are people ready to get riding?

PM me your number if you want to ride?

And Oli you live in edgeley dont you?

    Cheers

  3. This sounds ace ... just wondering am fairly new to trials so is it a wide variety of stuff to ride?

( I know its only at planning stages)

Just thinking if theres a bit of stuff that is beginner to intermidiate then yeah i'll be there.

    :P

  4. I wouldn't do that from pure experience this could cost you a whole new hub.

Did exactly what you suggested there Mark with a Alu (some sort of spare HollotechII spacer around 2.5mm) and sprocket managed to strip the threads on the hub in less than a days ride, I'm not a particularly heavy rider and I really wouldn't recommend doing it at all.

Save yourself a new hub and wheelbuild by doing it properly.

    Steve

Ok cheers ... but how do i do it properly then so this doesn't happen?

I need to fir before sunday and am struggling?

Is there a better way to fir the TR on The Pro?

  5. The sprocket's sold seperately. Depending on the sprocket you've got, you may be able to flip it over and use a thin spacer to keep it spaced away from the spoke heads so it'll end up in a TR-ish position.

    Right ok thanks.

    Just wondering before I try.

    Thanks for your help mate.

  6. My bro has the TR wheel on his blade with the same drop outs and yeh with out the snail cams it does fit.

One problem we faced though is that because the TR hub body is quite wide you might find that the chain or sprocket will hit the drop outs. We solved this by using the Echo TR sprocket which has the teeth in the middle and the sprocket and it now clears nicley with a 18:12 gear ratio.

Ok thanks mate ... does sprocket come with the wheel or have to buy the TR sprocket seperate?

Is it a pain to sort or just 20mins work? lol

  7. Hey people.

Just looking at a Echo TR rear wheel for Onza Pro.

Tr is 116 hub and the Onza Pro has a 110 hub.

Been told it is possible to make the wheel fir by removing snail cams?

    Is this right?

Please give advise soon as ... need to fit wheel before sunday ahaa

    Cheers

  8. Hey people.

    Cheers

  9. Hey everyone.

Am struggling at the moment finding a back wheel?

I have an Onza Pro, and its standard at the moment. I am trying to find a closed bearing wheel.

Was looking at Echo TR rear on TartyBikes.

But am now struggling with money so dont think it will be possible to get this wheel in the time i want my bike fixed.

Does anyone know anywhere or anyone to get a rear wheel with closed bearings to fit my Onza Pro?

    Please help XD

    Cheers

  10. I dont know what it was to be honest ... not a brick ... but was quite annoying heavy.

Much better now i have invested in a lighter one.

It's all battered and bruised though :)

So am looking at a new one

  11. I would highly recommend you get sealed bearings! You seem unlucky to have gone through 3 sets! They are extremely low maintainence compared to opens, no fiddling about with cones either :)

As soon as i have money i am doin.

    Lol

Until then it taking apart and greasing and keepin cones tight XD

  12. Manchester would be great for me to get to! ive heard its good to ride but the problem is that nobody rides there.

Its not like just us two could go because we dont know any spots :/

Ok well i would love to ride it.

You no more people than me ... so would anyone be interested sam?

Lol i need to get practice in ... (just a rookie) ahaa

  13. Hey everyone.

I know people including me have been trying t get the manchester rides going.

I am struggling getting about lately but i could get into the centre of manchester no problem.

I was really wanting to get people actually riding in manchester not just around?

Is anyone at all up for this? Thing there could be some good riding there?

    Cheers

  14. thanks to everyone for the help ... am looking at TR's front and back for it too.

Yes it was a weird wuestion sorry bout that but ... i love riding it ... when it not chewing my bearings up its lovely to ride but just wondering whether other Onza's do it too or not?

I been through about 3 sets of bearings now. (all open though)

    cheers

  15. Well it's a few models up from the rip, and i don't think the Blade is worth the extra money.

But the comp is quite alot better than the Pro, only downside to that is you have to pay an extra £200 or so

    Ok cheers...

Well is the Pro a good bike in general... I have got the pro but am having problems with it so wanted a second opinion.
