  1. Got those TNN Belaey from Tarty last week. Works extremely epic. Using medium grind on 19' Onza Ronnie or w/e it is. Also, they look pr0 and you're getting some black and white TNN stickers, too. oh my god cool!
  2. I used to quit trials for like three years and start riding again this April. Got some Onza mod from Tarty <3 with those horrible stock grips. Even if I also ordered a pair of decent gloves from 'em, they didn't rly help to avoid corns appearing all over my hands. Switch to some Ritchey foam grips in a week, which were really thick, and I loved 'em. But since I got some parts upgraded last week, Trialtech foam ones, yeah <3
  3. This video is full of win. Waiting forward seeing the full version.
  4. There are some pics of my freshly updated bike, cheers, Tarty. You guys rock! Quick spec: Onza blade '09; HS-33 rear running TNN Belaey pads; some cable Onza disk brake on the front; Trialtech handlebar, stem; Urban forks; Onza ronnie 19', Hog 20'.
  5. What about the angle of the handlebar setup? It seems to be leaned on to front too much, doesn't it?
  6. Very smooth and skilled. Enjoyed it.
  7. you, Onza one. The grips were off and I just switched the levers, even if the HS-33 hose is kinda short to be placed on the right side of the handlebar to fit the frame clips. Anyway, it's alright, thanks for the great service and staying in touch, Tarty team. Also, getting some 400 pounds cost parts for an upgrade on monday <3
  8. The bike I bought from you this spring had that UK brake setup, which kind of caused me a lot of problems trying to learn riding it that way. Gave up and Switched the levers in the end though >_> Nothing personal, Tarty <3
  9. Nice one, do like! So black and white though, like an old movie
  10. Doing trials is not about forcing yourself. Big sport, championships and stuff liek that, - yeah. But not like everyday riding. I quit trials four years ago b/c of some reasons. Didn't feel nice, really. Started over a few months ago and I do still ride better than some kids who started like one-two years ago. Unfortunately, I can't afford riding everyday, it's only about two-three times a week due to the lack of spare time. I feel like I want to spend tiem with my friends riding bycicles. Also, it's never too late to try something new. I've just finished setting up my second fixie bike <3 and enjoying those epic trips in the evenings, when you're tired of everyday routine. I also think about building an expensive project of a street bike during this winter to be ready until next summer.
  11. I was fifteen. Used to ride some yellow-coloured Giant MTB bike o_O
  12. I am not really sure is the link relies to 2007 model. But I suppose, 2k7 version is the latest one.
  13. Try using the search button: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/wiki/BB_rise
  14. It's that's the one; Wheelbase: 1020mm Chainstay Length: 362mm BB + 50mm Not sure 'bout it's weight though, Onza frames are kinda light anyway.
  15. Looks questionably thin >_> I would rather get the steel version b/c of the toughness.
  16. The long and short frames vary in the length of their wheel base. It's calculated measuring the distance between your front and rear hubs. Also, there is a bottom bracket rise characteristic, which is a vertical line rising from your wheel base measuring to the bottom bracket. The modern frames mostly have high rised BB, which makes a rider feel more comfortable on the rear and longer wheel base. The longer WB is - the larger your gaps and sidehops are, while the shorter base allows you to ride some kind of streety style, go 180/360 degrees tricks and bunny hops and so on. You might wanna hang around with other trial riders in your area and try riding different bikes, shorter or longer, to decide which one suits you better.
  17. Hi there. I'm currently riding a stock onza square BB for ten pounds, lol. And it's working pretty decent to me. Due to the old-fashioned construction of the square taper'd BBs they are pretty cheap, so, you might wanna pick one of these
  18. I feel too uncomfortable doing trials while I got my headphones on; music kinda prevents me to listen to the environtment. I can't stand I don't hear my freewheel or magura making the noize the have to all the time. I tried listening to different styles of music I prefer, from Reggie or some Hip-hop to classical rock or even jazz: they all make my attention fly away, I can concentrate hardly. At the same time, I freakin' love riding my fixie while listening to some music, yeh.
  19. I'm about to get a new stem, so I used to ask Adam which geo would be more appropriate last week. He replied with
  20. Maxxis CC is a nice choice for a beginner. Probably, a decent one for an Onza blade. If you're skilled enough and riding pretty smooth, consider of getting those Stiky tyres from Try-all. The new, light, ones are epic, k-124 will soon have 'em in stock white coloured. But you should know that Stiky tyres are made of very soft compound and don't last that long, must be used carefully.
  21. The fork seems to be that Onza stock one, Cro-Mo It's heavy as hell, change it asap to feel it lighter. Also, get a high riser handlebar and some sweet-looking stem with 160*35 degrees geo.
  22. It's probably about Pavel Borisevich, that russian riding Because 24'.
  23. Oh, yes, you did, PeanuckleJive. Also, I'm kind of a blind man or there is no rule about a member's signature content? And, well,
