    V Brakes

Wasn't for the rip mate. I think the rip shall get new cable and a booster for now then maybe some pads in time
  2. Ok. This is why it was posted as a thing for onza to look in to. I'll try to be " lucking" companies could even make a v brake were the mounts are at the top of the brake instead of the bottom so the pads are lower I'm full of ideas tonight I bet it will still work out cheaper than losing £150 off what you bought your bike for then spending another £200 on our next bike. Ou don't neccerally have to buy it all at one you could buy the adaptors one month then next month when you get paid you could buy the wheel
  3. Right I give up telling you lot I'll make the change and make the brakes and help people out there who can't afford to just lose £200 of there bike and spend anoter £400 buying a new one. I'm not trying to sell anything to onza or any other company I was saying it would have been a good idea which is the idea of the thread. As for marks bit about people asking if they can make the brakes drop down surely them people would have bought the adaptor. And lastly it elimantes the need to sell your first bike when it's in perfect nick. As I say anyone who wants to know more about my idea please ask. I still like the idea of a trials hand book though. Good night to all and to all a good night Yes but a extra £140 in one go is alot where as buying them in bits it's easier for people to afford at first especially when your a kid. Not that I need to upgrade the bike as I'm more than good enough doing 100 backhops and 9ft side hops just a idea for onza to make money and us customers not lose a load selling our bikes
  4. Mark it wasn't meant to read no alot meant to be don't no alot. It reply to post above that is why I say a UPGRADE what upgrade means is that you can buy it later on as a add say £50 for a wheel and £20 for the brake adaptors.also i think I have a idea about the brakes and will try to explain and draw up when I have bit more time thinking about it is very simple and I may even be able to modify my brakes
  5. not alot to get really onza should make a upgradable prebuilt 19" rear wheel for the rip. The brake kit could be as simple as small brake mounts on the underside of the original ones or v brakes were the pads hang lower it's not rocket science
  6. But correct me if I'm wrong but when you buy the rip you are completely new to trials and do no alot. In regards to making new frames to take a 19" wheel what's the point in that as I'd still have to buy a new frame. What I'm saying is onza should/ could make a cheap rear wheel and some sort of brake adaptor to UPGRADE the 09 / 10 rip. Howz that
  7. Exactly why I'm saying they should make a upgrade, there has gotta be a way of making one so your V brake will still fit, for f**k sake there engineers
  8. And if we Are you should have released them a week back as I may well of had one. Anyway don't forget the wheel idea

    V Brakes

Cheers mate. So shall I get the inspired pads or the heatsinks?About the rear wheel do you know where I can get a 19" with disc hub for around £50 for a experiment. Plus do you need somert special on the frame to run a rear disc ? With them pads shall I grind the rim. And would you recemoned a lubed brake cable. And how's that for full stops.......
  10. So weres my 19" rear rip wheel, I have a idea that onza might be interested in as I know many people have asked for one but brakes won't allow well mr onza I have a solution for a small fee ( a onza master )

    V Brakes

Hi I own a onza rip and think it's time for new pads know £40 is my limit do I just buy standard v pads and booster off chain reaction for about £15 and then so the front aswell or some heatsinks an no booster or diff pads diff booster upgrade to mag also I have a idea on running a disc on the back, and last of all are 19" rear wheels an advantage? Thanks in advance
  12. What about brakes do you have to run a disc on the rear or can can you put mags on it? I'm am looking at getting the 20" version
  13. A standard v brake with some heatsink pads and booster and your as good as hs33s think vs feel better like that than mags as the levers aren't metal you feel as if you'll brake them. But decent pads are the key

    Freewheels

I'm stuck on what freewheels are and what they do Can some of you tell me please
  17. I'd like onza to make a 19" wheel for the rip, the bike would be much better with one. A bashguard kit for stock bikes and not just ones that will fit new stock I mean for old stocks aswell. And lastly a hand book about everything to do with trials as i still don't know a lot 12 months on Any one who make any of these products will make me a happy man but if you don't pay me for my ideas I will find you I will cut your jacobs off lol
