I didn't really want a tensioner as it keeps getting caught that's why I wanted to know if I could do it without a tensioner?

Oh it'll take a while I only ride occasionally but bin 12 months and can only back hop and little spins need help on jumping high, pedal kicks and sidehops then I'll be happy

Anyone know if you can run the bike without buying a singlespeed kit but just taking the dreileur off and running it on the gear sprockets? Also will 5mm of spacers fit underneef my 20 mm that's already on?

I was thinking of spraying my rims can you do while the wheel is all built and just mask up the hub?

I ordered my phase from winstanleys it was over the phone but ordered 22nd December here on Christmas eve that's good service by anyones standards

Depends on the spec of each bike what were you looking at getting. Tip don't ask to be validated you might want to edit your post

In all fairness weight isn't that important the bike tends to be light anyway and your bike could be 12 kg but its your bike and you will get use to it

Hi I am currently riding a phase 1.2 and aret entirely happy with the front end. The handlebars have a rise in them but the stem is quite short so could I put a onza forged stem on there would it fit and would it feel comfy. Any advice welcomed

Could I set this single speed kit up on my own without special tools and how would I shorten the chain ?

Well I didnt get what a freewheel was until today when my grandad explained (he's not that old) but we couldn't work out what a front one would actually do, also lie I say im having a pain taking the gears of my phase could I just run a rear freewheel instead of a single speed kit ? Or would I have to have both or would it be better using one of these front freewheels? It's all very confusing

Where did you get yours from and how much were they, also I'm presuming you run a rear vee? Them little rubber sleeves that go over the cable do they make any difference ?

The 1.2 got maggies as standard mate I got mine from winstanleys aswell te 1.3 got vees but not the 1.2 I'm pretty sure phatmike rides a 1.2 even he'll tell you get one and use te extra £50 on putting a single speed kit on as the back is pretty heavy. As for topof the range it's the same bike just in white

What is your price range? As for for riding style at first it won't matter you'll get on and think this feels weird half hour late you'll be doing everything normal, have you got a bike in mind?
