Because they can. But also, the Circus Monkey is coming directly from Taiwan, where its probably manufactured, rather than going through a shop and so it'll be cheaper that way.

Finish riding at 7, drive home and arrive by 9, quick bite to eat, shower, change and out by 10 at the latest. No excuses.

Las fe years hasbeen that sort of date so the main ride will be the saturday, and im guessing others will also ride on the sunday
Then I'm out. Riding Bristol on my bday on the 10th would be sick, but I wouldn't be home in time to get smashed soooo...

I could possibly make the weekend of the 3rd/4th, my birthday is on the 10th so there's not a chance I'll be sober enough to ride at any point that weekend!
Someone set a date and we'll see haha.

Out of interest, how much extra would it cost to run it as a standalone event? I think people would pay a lot more to not have security breathing down our necks, at an event where its just trials riders, where we get the one controlled fire and are allowed to make just a little noise!

If you've had a few years off, replace the whole chain and not just the split link. I didn't, I just lubed it up and carried on. This resulted in a 7 foot gap to face...
New chain won't do any harm!!

I don't remember you guys leaving last night. Raging hangover this morning! Vaguely remember rugby tackling someone, and I ache. Must've been good...
Ash and Euan left for bed, so I stayed with you for another beer. Then you pretty much passed out at the camper table so I woke you up, said bye and left. Before I'd even lit my rollie outside I heard a huge thud, opened the door and you were sprawled across the floor! I asked if you wanted a hand up and you shouted "f**k OFF!" hahaha, "You said you were leaving so why are you still here?!"
"Yeah, night JD."
Overall I had a good time this weekend, just a few things would improve it next year

theres not a lot of free parking in pompey. fratton or southsea are your best bets, but the majority of portsmouth is pay and display seven days a week!

Currently have my King all stripped down for a service. Started fannying around at the weekend so fingers crossed she'll be purring nicely this weekend! I'll hopefully be out Saturday afternoon, but that all depends on just how hungover/drunk I am from Friday night. I'll have a quiet Saturday night though so that I'm not all over the place on Sunday! Well up for this!

Ah okay, thanks guys, would it be better to land flat when doing sidehops or landing on the front wheel and pulling the back end up, at the momant i land on the front wheel

you will generally sidehop higher if you can exaggerate all movements and land on two wheels. thats what seems to go down these days anyway. but i can't sidehop to two at all!
edit: and as for tyre pressure, it can affect bounce loads. but if i were to run a good side hopping tyre pressure then all my other moves, gaps etc, would result in a lot of folded rims!

That was siiiiicckkk. Really enjoyed that, prob best feeling vid in a while. Just want to go ride now but have work, and my bike feels wank atm haha.
